The building was absolutely charming and the suite was extremely comfortable and spacious. It was the accommodation highlight on our trip so far. The location was ideal as we were able to walk everywhere through the old town and soak up the atmosphere. Whilst a little more expensive than other accommodation available it was definitely worth the extra with breakfast included and complimentary mini bar. We also enjoyed the sun and a picnic on the rooftop bar overlooking Cartagena's famous archaeological site. Put La Casa de Las Flores on your list if you are visiting the Andalusian region of Spain.

This place is definitely worth 5 stars! The hotel itself is a beautiful example of the local architecture, our room was very clean and comfy. Since the hotel is on a hill, the view was spectacular from almost any angle. The host deserves a lot of praise too - what a smart, friendly and welcoming person (he speaks Spanish, English and German by the way). He made our stay very pleasant and was very attentive and thoughtful. I loved the breakfast too! Thank you very much, Joaquin :)
