Basic accomodation. Clean, small room, fan for air flow. The staff were willing to change our room from the exterior to an interior room which unfortunately did not have a window which opened. Good basic value.

Aztec Capital and Vibrant Metropolis
As one of the biggest cities in the world, Mexico City could be better described as an experience than a city. Founded in 1325 by the Aztecs as Tenochtitlan, it was both destroyed and rebuilt by the Spanish in the 16th century. Nowadays, it is the capital of the United Mexican States and its most important economic and cultural center.
The city center’s cornerstone is the famous Plaza de la Constitución, commonly called Zócalo. It's surrounded by the presidential Palacio Nacional and the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral.
The Avenida de la Reforma was built under the brief rule of Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian of Austria, while the deposed president Porfirio Díaz left a characteristic fusion of French-Mexican architecture. The 1960s saw a demographic explosion that only now is starting to be completely absorbed.
From the Chapultepec Parks and the chic Polanco, to the gay area of Zona Rosa and the Bohemian and intellectual Coyoacán: let Mexico City tell you its thousand secrets and stories.
Most of the hotels are located around the Reforma area, the Insurgentes Avenue and the Zócalo. If you’re looking for 5-star hotels in Mexico City, the modern Santa Fe area has a recently redeveloped business sector.

Mexico City has come a long way from 10 years ago I was here, the city feels a lot more secure now. I would definitely recommend visiting this city. Sooo much to do and see! Not to mention the huge gastronomy variety.

I was pleasantly impressed with Mexico City.
I was pleasantly impressed with Mexico City. Its people are very kind and respectful, and very proud of their roots, they know their history very well, and feel proud ot it. Despite the large number of inhabitants, it is a very clean city, and very well preserved. Their food is fascinating, I loved the tacos al Pastor from El Tizoncito, and the churros with chocolate.

From the moment I arrived, Mexico City captured my heart...
From the moment I arrived, Mexico City captured my heart with its vibrant culture and warm hospitality. I had the pleasure of visiting iconic locations such as the majestic Castle of Chapultepec and its serene park, and I navigated the city with ease using the efficient metro and Metro bus services. A highlight was the enchanting boat ride through the canals of Xochimilco and a visit to the spiritual Basilica, each offering unique insights into the city's rich heritage. To top it all off, attending a Madonna concert was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that added an extra sparkle to my visit.
The city's blend of history, culture, and modern attractions makes it a top destination for any traveler. I am already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this mesmerizing city to anyone considering a visit. Mexico City, you have left an indelible mark on my heart!

I love visiting Mexico City.
I love visiting Mexico City. I have taken two vacation trips there in the last year. It is comfortable for a visitor with minimal Spanish language (but still, you should try, at least a little!). So many interesting and unique aspects. World class museums, fabulous murals, amazing archaeological sites, intriguing markets, memorable restaurants & street food, Lucha Libre, Ballet Folklorico, and much more. Go to Tours by Locals and arrange some outstanding guided tours (I have done 7 of them in Mexico City).

The city is a alive with people, cars, and police. We were never bothered by beggers, etc. Mexico City is not for people who do not like crowds and wonderful for those of us that appreciate humanity.

We had a wonderful time and always felt safe.
We had a wonderful time and always felt safe. However, we stayed in a hotel on the main plaza (zócalo) and there was an incredible amount of police and private security presence. Our hotel (Gran Hotel) had its own vetted taxi service, which we used exclusively. The sights in the city and surroundings are just amazing. We spent two days in the National Museum of Anthropology and could have easily spent more (informative texts and artifacts for every pre-Hispanic culture in Mexico -- think Smithsonian or NYC natural history museum. Amazing cuisine, parks, pyramids, art galore -- don't miss the murals in the Palace of Fine Arts), and on and on. Incredible city, not to be missed. Get a good guide book and go!!
Selina was the best value for money that could find across Booking, Airbnb, and Hostelworld for a 10-day stay. The private room was very comfortable and the hostel offers lots of amenities (ground cafe/restaurant, co-working space for additional fee, common library and kitchen space, and rooftop bar on weekends). The wifi worked very well and it's in a convenient location for Centro Historico. The decor and artwork made it a lot more enjoyable than other comparable priced hotels we looked at.
The best thing about the hotel is its convenient location. It's within walking distance to must see things to see like Palacio de bellas artes (10 min) and Zocalo (15-20min).
Other attractions on Paseo de Reforma are nearby, with metro and metrosbus stops just across the street.
Check in and check out was eficient and quick, staff were nice.
The hotel has taxi service 24 hours with very minimal wait time which is great, although note that an uber to the airport may turn out cheaper.
Perfectly located along tree lined Reforma, and nestled between the beautiful neighborhoods of Polanco, Rosa y Chapultepec’s museums & Palace, walking distance to parks, monuments & many restaurants ... amazing housekeeping & staff services, it’s a pricey yet exclusive way to spend a week in Mexico City, especially for first timers 😎 ... Uber & Taxi’s are plentiful and cheap ways to visit the beautiful historic center and many museums & cultural attractions! Go and be pampered!!!
You can't imagine and in my opinion find better location in Mexico City. The view from the balcony is outstanding. The breakfast is great. The stuff very friendly and helpful. You have 24h coffee shop in the hotel with free coffee and sandwiches for hotel guests. I've been in so many hotels and never seen anything like that. The hotel is very clean and the food is very fresh. One if the best hotels I've ever been.
Fantastic boutique hotel with great service and roofdeck. Loved their continental breakfast, which was included. It's a beautifully designed art-deco buildling located a few feet away from Amsterdam Avenue in Condesa. They also had great recommendations in the room for restaurants and sites to see for those interested in design and culture.
Big and comfortable room, quiet and well equipped. We had a room on the 9th floor with a great view on park and castle. Staff were very nice. Haven’t tried breakfast or gym, nothing to say about them. Location is great for those who want to see a lot of the city - the hotel is conveniently located between Polanco, Roma and across the park.
Hotel Itto is located in the beautiful Condesa neighborhood - just a few minutes from wonderful restaurants, cute cafes, and parks, especially Chapultepec where a visit is a must. It's right off the highway so easy to get to from the airport in about 30 mins via taxi, depending on the traffic, of course. The courtyard of the hotel is cute.
I loved everything about it! stayed in the apartment style room and it was beautiful. the staff was so accommodating. Daniela & christian were the front desk people who were the absolute nicest. love the cooks jose and luis. this is probably the only hotel i’d stay at again in polanco
The location is great just outside Mexico City Airport, with free shuttle bus taking us there from the airport. We couldn't enjoy the free breakfast as we had to leave early for our morning flight, but the hotel packed our breakfast, even though small and basic, it was wonderful.
The hotel doesn’t look like much from the street or the lobby, but the room was large and comfortable. The location just four short blocks from the center of Mexico City is its best selling point. This is a no frills, very inexpensive hotel with a very convenient location.
great location in a beautiful residential neighborhood (best location for a visit to Mexico City) with convenient access to public transportation. nice staff at this comfortable boutique hotel. art deco building from the 1930s with lovely rooftop deck and breakfast area.
This is probably the best hotel in Mexico City. Why? the helpfulness, professionalism and friendliness of the staff is outstanding. The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Polanco. the rooms are great. Big, comfortable and contemporary.
The kindest staff, the best location and lovely comfortable beds!
We have already booked to stay again. They have great amenities and they go out of their way to help you however they can. It’s the best hotel we’ve stayed in in Mexico City.
Roland at the front desk provided a 5 stars service.
He was on point for recommendations and letting me know about the history of the city.
The design of the hotel is incredible and location in polanco is perfect
Small boutique Hotel perfectly located for a City trip to Mexico City!!! Very clean rooms and friendly staff!!! Appearance on Booking exactly how it looked like in reality!!!
very spacious studio in the best part of Polanco. I took a look at most of the hotels around the area, and this not only was more affordable, but was more modern as well
