Perfect location in the very centre of Glastonbury. So very close to Hight street and we would see the Abbey from our window. Friendly helpful staff, very welcoming and family atmosphere! Glastonbury is a wonderfully quirky town, but has a seriously eclectic range of inhabitants which add colour to any visit. The sights are amusing, diverse, and collectively not found in other towns in England. I would say a visit to Glastonbury is not to be missed :) We saw and climbed the Tor ( in the rain showers) for amazing views, the Chalice Well Gardens are charming, well laid out, and full of reflective and meditative souls. The White spring is a shrine and sanctuary to freedom, very atmospheric and you can skinnydip in the healing waters should you feel inclined. The High St has the most intriguing set of shops in a 500 yard stretch. The pubs are both ancient and accommodating, with good beer and wines, and tasty food on offer. Love this place!

Lovely locals helped my fine the house - I got a bit lost. Glastonbury is as you would expect it to be, quirky and friendly. Everything shut earlier that I am used to in London. There's a great fish & chip shop. All in all I was happy to find the locals really lovely & helpful.

The attractions are all close to each other and walkable without needing transport. The Chalice Gardens are a serene and wonderful place to visit and definitely recommended. The waters are highly rich in iron and can be drunk in small amounts from the lion's head fountain (tested for potability). It is possible to paddle in the water due to its legendary healing properties. I would have visited the White Water Spring also, but it was closed on the day we visited as it is volunteer run and depends on their availability. The town is very interesting, especially if you are into crystals. We had lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bistros. A climb up the Tor is a must for the view from the top. There were three musicians making music in the tower and it was wonderful, it made my whole visit perfect. A visit to Glastonbury is as magical as its legends.

I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old. There is something very unique about this place. Embrace the quirkiness, enjoy the history, amble around the shops full of all things 'witchy' and have a pint at the pub. You won't regret it.

If you’re into alternative lifestyles laid back people, walks up the tor, live music, therapies and crystals you will love. Huge choices of esoteric goods. As ever be discerning in what you choose to do or buy! The Crown in the centre is a good option for Glasto attuned food with the kitchen open most of the day plus pub atmosphere! Handy when most of the cafes are closed in the late afternoon/ evening (review written in January!)

The room was perfect with a comfy bed, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave, along with a private back terrace where you could sit out for meals. Our landlady, Bridie, was very friendly and considerate, offering us a plentiful and healthy packed breakfast to eat whilst we waited in the queue to get into Glastonbury Festival, since we would be leaving in the early hours and would otherwise have missed breakfast. All round, just what we needed before our five days of camping!

Lovely Full English breakfast delivered to my door at exactly the time I had requested. The room was very clean and tidy. The fridge outside my door was very handy. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk to use. Located near St Johns car park at the back of the George and Pilgrim Hotel for which made it easier to access your vehicle to top up parking by 9am, as parking is free from 18.00 hrs - 09.00hrs. I would certainly book here again and highly recommend a stay here.

Absolutely lovely place to stay in Glastonbury. Short walk away from the High Street. Our hosts were truly amazing people and went out of their way to please and cater for us. Very friendly, accommodating and professional. The place has 4 rooms with good facilities. Free Wifi and Netflix free parking is at the back of the house that can squeeze in 3 cars. But for us the very friendly service was what made it for us. Hope to see you again!

The Crown hotel is in a great location in the centre of Glastonbury. We stayed in the Bob Marley room which was nicely decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. Food was excellent and great value for money - breakfast amazing - a cut above - Also staff really friendly and helpful - On our arrival the hotel manager saw us to our room and offered to take our bags etc - A great place to stay we can really recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay. Bella was amazing and very caring, the Breakfast was plenty and nicely arranged. Even though it is explained that you do it yourself, everything was laid out perfectly and it was nice to chat with other guests over a nice cup of coffe/tea. The place was spottless! I have never stayed in a place this clean - even in a 5 Star Hotel you can find little bits, but here, everything was very tidy and clean!

Location was perfect for our stay. We were attending the Glastonbury festival, and the bust stop to get to the festival was a couple of minutes walk from the property. The apartment suites out needs well in terms of facilities and comfort. I would like to return to Glastonbury soon to explore the area more , the town is very nice, and would definitely consider staying here again.

The character and atmosphere of the hotel is spectacular with historical charm radiating from every stone slab. Worth paying for the more expensive rooms to really appreciate the experience.

With heartfelt gratitude, I thank Julie and Tor for their hospitality, generosity, and wisdom. Breakfast was delicious! If you are on a spiritual journey to Glastonbury, look no further: Make this B&B your first stop. (And book a tour with Tor to Stonehenge and Avebury. It could change your life.)
