I found O Pedruoso a lovely little town and this property was a delight to stay in. It was so comfortable and clean. bathroom facilities were excellent and check in was efficient and done without fuss. Beds were extremely comfortable.

This was our last stop prior to arriving in Santiago. O Pino, delivered, a good few places where to eat and have a drink, buy some gifts, and the locals were very nice. Perhaps I saw it at its worst, a public holiday. It felt like a ghost town. Can’t recall name of restaurant I ate in but it was on the Main Street, had two rooms with long tables in the middle of each room, so as a solo diner I felt fine. There are a few kinks that need to get ironed out which, in my opinion, would make me give it top scores. The bottom line is when you charge the high prices that you charge, expectations go up. I would not have these expectations had we stayed in a less fancy hotel ( which is how we had been traveling up until this point) I think these suggestions ( see below ) would be quite easy to implement.

The bathroom is convenient, and bright, but not so clean. They have a pool, which was a good bonus for our stay. However, there is no AC, so during the day it gets really hot, but the temperature lowers at night which makes the room more comfortable to stay in. She saw that we were tired and didn’t want to walk anywhere to get dinner, so she contacted a local restaurant and arranged to collect a meal for us. She bought it back to the hotel and set us up on a little table. It was delicious and very much appreciated. She also did our laundry, washed & dried and delivered back to our room within a few hours.
