I rated the staff high because of the woman at the front desk who was very friendly and helpful. I had also thought that breakfast was included. It was not, and it was an expensive "add-on". The room was wonderful, comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff was also friendly and helpful. The restaurant breakfast manager stood by our table almost the whole time we were there. that was uncomfortable!

We were pilgrims walking the Camino and chose to stay here for a night instead of a pilgrim hostel . It was the same price as some of the hostels but we had our own room and private bathroom . The hotel is very central and quiet and the staff were extremely helpful. Very good vegetarian restaurant nearby . I would highly recommend . Curcuma is the name of the restaurant.

Location is very nice, especially during Christmas time.
Location is very nice, especially during Christmas time. Streets are decorated with Christmas lights everywhere. Lot of restaurants nearby. The big shopping mall across the streets ensure that you can buy almost anything you need. For the transport, taxi is safer then rented car. Traffic there is quite intensive during daytime.

Vigo is a a lovely City to visit, Old City has many excellent restaurants with quality seafood and pork in particular. Taxis are reasonably priced and it offers good train and bus services - Porto is only 2 hours by bus if you want to explore. Santiago de Compostela is a short train journey away.
The new transport interchange is pretty impressive with an integrated shopping mall, they are building an observation platform which will offer fantastic views of the city and estuary.

Vigo is a combination of old and new architecture, with all types of stores everywhere. The water view is beautiful as well as the terracotta rooftops. The city is very vibrant, even in the middle of the week; people are helpful. Some of the buildings are not maintained. It appears to be a pet and children friendly city based on the parks around. It is easy to get around, and there are walking escalators for some of the uphills.

Exploring the old town was lovely. It is a very pretty city.
Exploring the old town was lovely. It is a very pretty city. Although hilly! We travelled from England and found that it was very useful to have some basic understanding of Spanish as it does not appear Vigo is a hotspot for English speaking tourists. We spent a day visiting Ceis Island which was wonderful, definitely something worth doing. We then also took a car and went out of the city to do some hiking which was beautiful, and then visited some beaches on the way back to Vigo, near Oia, which again were stunning and worth the trip.

A city worth discovering!
A city worth discovering! The CIES islands remain the point of greatest attraction, without any doubt!
The only unpleasant thing was the fact that at most of the terraces (those in the Constitution Square, for example) you could not order food until after 20:00. So, I only drank beer :)
This hotel was brilliant for our stay in the maritime city of Vigo. Staff were very kind, spoke English and on hand at every hour we needed them. Location could hardly have been better, with it a short walk from loads of restaurants and cafes, as well as a massive shopping centre connected to one of two train stations in the city. Also, cleaners did an excellent job in cleaning our room. It was spotless and in general, well maintained. Would say that it was a good-adequate price for the area.
The hotel is lovely, the room was on the 6th floor with a full-length picture window overlooking the ocean; king sized bed; polished marble floors; huge bath with tub and bidet; super soft sheets; plenty of hot water; airco that was efficient; and everything was remarkably quiet. Early check-in and late departure. We could not have asked for better, particularly after walking the Camino for two weeks.
The apartment was absolutely beautiful. Very stylish and well appointed with excellent facilities. It is in a great location in the heart of the city. The price was incredibly reasonable for the quality of accommodation on offer. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is nothing that I would criticise. I will be recommending this hotel to anyone I know who is thinking of going to Vigo.
Excellent spot for an overnight near Vigo with a car. I was there to pick someone up from the airport the next day. There was free parking opposite the hotel in their own car park. Clean, tidy room with plenty of air and light. Welcoming receptionist (in Spanish). Good buffet breakfast. There's an Eroski supermarket about 10 mins walk away, plus beautiful Parque de Castrelos nearby.
We were there for a week (not our first stay there and hopefully not our last) and although the location is perfect, the rooms and facility excellent, I can’t speak highlier of the staff, who made our stay fabulous. They got to know us and anticipated our needs and wants. The restaurant was very good as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel if your staying in Vigo.
We loved the central location, which is close to the port and to the old town. The apartment is brand new, and spotless. It is also well equipped. The bed was comfortable enough. The pillows were great. For two people, it was a perfect space for a 4 nights. The staff was also super helpful. I highly recommend for a sightseeing trip to Vigo and Islas Cies
The hotel is ideally situated in front of the Vigo Urzaiz railway station and is in a short walking distance to the historic city centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful and of vers good advice. The breakfast room is on the roof top and offers à great view on the harbor and the interior Vigo bay while enjoying a big choice of food.
We booked two apartments for our group and both of them were amazing, we felt like in a hotel. The apartments were clean and modern with nice details, like stone walls and lovely views from the windows. The location was also perfect - right in the center of Vigo. Can highly recommend!
I arrived in Vigo very tired and booked a hotel to sleep and relax. The location is excellent, the staff is polite. I liked the view from the balcony and the big bed. It was clean and comfortable. I was allowed to leave my bag for a couple of hours after checkout.
But..
This hotel was very nice, clean, like the pictures on the website. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and helped orient us in the city. The buffet breakfast is not bad considering Spain, and 7 euros a person is relatively cheap.
The location was great as it was right in the middle of the city of Vigo. As was the price of our five night stay. It was excellent value for money to stay here. Also the price of food and drink in the hotel was great.
The hotel was very nice. It is on the camino. We are walking the camino portugese. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was cold water and apples in the reception area. They do offer breakfast.
The hotel is a good match for those who like a good view and for those who is looking for a place not in the Vigo centre, but really close to the transportation and some facilities like a shopping mall.
This is a great place in an excellent location - right in the plaza catedral and right on the Camino De Santiago - a perfect place for those hiking el Camino . It was also very clean and comfortable
Lovely hotel in the centre of town, Vigo is a fair size industrial type town on the Camino. I walked around the area big I did not find the down town section, I suspect there are many.
Hotel rooms nice and clean; great harbour view, esp. when Cruise Ships are arriving.
Lots of restaurants around: Old Town and Plaza de Compostela
Helpful and service minded staff
A great location midway between Vigo (and the cool area of Bouzers) and Samil beach. The views across the estuary were lovely. It has 5* comfort and friendly staff.
Clean, spacious. Lovely bathroom. I paid just a little less elsewhere in Vigo and the hotel was not nearly as nice. After walking the camino this was a dream!
