The pool is GREAT as is the outside chill area. It's a really beautiful villa. Hasitha, the guy that was there to assist us was great - very helpful and respected out request for privacy. Communication in general was top notch. The view of the sea from the upper level is magnificent.

Kuma and his wife Krishanti were so welcoming and helpful. They even helped us get our saris ready for a wedding. The food was delicious, and it was lovely to have breakfast outside while looking at the garden.

I was surprised at first when I saw the pictures and description, but it is matching with what is said: 4 bedrooms, 3 stairs, 2 rooms with balconies, one rooftop, one kitchen, one living room downstairs with TV and one smaller at the first floor.

The room was very comfortable and had a nice terrace. The garden was peaceful and very private, which was perfect for sunbathing and relaxing without worrying about “dress code”. It was a relaxing and homely environment. We had a very nice breakfast each morning, and in the evenings Raj made some delicious curries with fresh local ingredients. Wadduwa is not a touristy place, which we liked. It is located on the train line between Colombo and Galle, with both easily reachable.

Colombo is 30 km from The Villas, Wadduwa while Bentota is 30 km from the property. The nearest airport is Bandaranaike International Airport, 56 km from the property. We were warmly greeted by the staff and given an exceptional room. The hotel grounds were spotless as was the room. The pool was a great relief from the scorching sun. Everything and everyone connected to the hotel went above and beyond expectations.
