The location is very relaxing, and the walk to the beach 10min away is also very quiet (very few cars). The family is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious (try a Sri Lankan breakfast!) Would definitely recommend!!

He arranged an incredible dinner for us (his mother cooked) and the breakfast was also awesome. He also played some UNO almost until midnight with us and we talked a lot about stuff in Sri Lanka and Yala especially. The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it. Thank you for having us!

Absolutely wonderful experience, the beach nearby is 10/10, the food was exceptional even considering how remote the location is in the middle of nature.

I really recommend the safari, we had the best driver Srimal, very experiment driver who know everything and takes time to explain you the history of the national park and animals and really take care of you, big thanks to him for this beautiful day, he is the best !!

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Warm water, decent water pressure, proactive host with whom communication via WhatsApp was uncomplicated and quick. Close to the beach and many nice restaurants within walking distance. We stayed five days longer than planned.

But that’s just the house itself what have make this trip unforgettable , the Staff Randi our main host is an amazing man who have been taking care of us from minute one . The rest of the staff are always looking to make your trip as easy as possible from giving you welcoming drinks to have you hop in this tuk-tuk to show you his beloved city . If you are in Yala this place is a must.
