Lovely country estate with several buildings (main house plus guest house and some other facilities) on a beautiful place overlooking Siena. Everything was really great - guest house is perfect for two but I guess it can easily accommodate 4 grown ups or a family with 2 kids. Beautiful interior, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom plus gorgeous garden with a view. Hope we will come back here again - some day.

We had originally booked for 3 days and 2 nights, but upon arriving at the villa and seeing how perfectly maintained it was with its stunning view, we immediately asked if we could extend our stay for an additional night. Marco and Tania gave us a warm welcome and Tania connected with us daily to check in on how we were doing and to offer suggestions on places to visit, including an amazing restaurant. Tania treated us like family rather than just guests, and we highly recommend this villa.

Boasting massage services, garden and views of garden, Colle al Matrichese - Historic Winery is situated in Montalcino, 42 km from Piazza del Campo. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We were met by Emilio Costanti and shown around our one bed house. To say we were immediately amazed with the beauty of the scenery and the friendly welcome is an understatement. The main house is used for events (i want my 50th to be held here!) and we stayed opposite it in an old lodge. At the back the balcony overlooks the hills behind and the vines growing. It is picture postcard Tuscany and Montalcino. The wine tour and cellars are extremely impressive but during the cellar tour seeing the old wines stacked in the cellar brought me to a standstill to see all the history in that room Emanualla who took us on the tour of the cellar has knowledge of wine and the Costanti family Vineyard that is so impressive and her passion shines through. This is genuinely the best few days my wife and I have had since before Covid and we would like to thank the whole family and everyone at the vineyard for making us feel part of the family.
