The view was beyond description, a volcano mountain rising majestically above a lush jungle, a sight that felt like a direct connection to the earth’s soul. Every moment spent in that room was a reminder to pause, breathe, and simply be. The staff were incredibly warm, kind, and attentive, making us feel like family. Their service was outstanding, and always helpful. The open-air spa is a must there!! it was a perfect place to unwind, offering a peaceful and holistic experience. The villa is located just 10 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, and money exchange offices. Virgin Beach, a must-see destination, is just a 50-minute drive away, and Gembleng Waterfalls are only 15 minutes by car. Plus, you can rent a bike directly from the hotel to explore the area. Patal Kikian Villa was the highlight of our entire trip in Bali!!! An unforgettable experience we’ll definitely be returning to.

So in general a very quiet and romantic place for experiencing silence and peace.

Muraya Villas in Ubud in Tegalalang provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a terrace. All rooms feature a kitchen and a private bathroom. The villa provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I chose the location to be away from the crowds and I really wanted the forest outlook. I got exactly what I was hoping for, beautiful accommodation looking out to the lush valley, sounds of nature and birds all around. The staff were all wonderful, friendly, very accomodating and easy to contact via WhattsApp chat at all times. My villa was stunning and my private infinity pool perfect. The locals were also very friendly and I ate out locally for lunch and dinners but as the wonderful breakfasts were provided and delivered to my villa I was always in for that, fresh and healthy options.

With a garden, the 3-star villa has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Every room is equipped with a patio with views of the garden. Everything was perfect! The host was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. As guests from South Africa, me and my mom truly felt welcomed and at home. It was honestly one of the best stays we've had, and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Bali! The location is also amazing — it's central and super close to everything, including the Monkey Sanctuary, delicious Ubud coffee roastery, "This is Bali" for dinner, Dang! Cookies, the market and beautiful spas just around the corner.
