Our stay at the Royal Apartments from December 22nd, 2024 to January 4th, 2025 was truly magical. The property boasts a small but dedicated team that ensured all our needs were met with precision and care. From maintaining the pristine condition of the villas to crafting bespoke meals, every detail was meticulously handled. The beautiful towel art and personalized recommendations for island excursions added delightful touches to our experience. Moreover, the stables and lovely horses provided unforgettable beach rides during stunning sunsets, making our stay even more enchanting. A special mention goes to Sophie at the front desk, Zach the manager, Mr. Saidi in F&B, and Chef Ochu, the head chef, for their warm smiles and impeccable hospitality. We highly recommend this experience and would rate it a perfect 9/10.

Our stay at Lions Villa in Zanzibar was exceptional! From the get-go, Paola provided very useful information about the villa, its services, and the island, making our trip planning seamless. The villa itself was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and felt just like home. We made use of several services, including a private chef and island excursions, all of which were easily planned and precisely met our expectations. A special mention to our driver, Mohamed, who was fantastic and accommodated all our requests with a smile. Additionally, Mr. Davies took care of all our on-site requests, ensuring a smooth stay—he was truly fantastic. Overall, Lions Villa is a gem in Zanzibar, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Gorgeous location, hosts were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. They even went to the nearest town to get milk and water for us (due to location shops are a car ride away). Onsite restaurant is wonderful, lovely warm staff who were fab with my little girl. Amazing pools and the villa is exceptional.

Great location, few steps from the ocean, without tourist crowds and beach boys. Beautiful & well maintained pool. Perfect place for family/couple getaway. Carol is an outstanding host—warm, incredibly helpful, and almost always available online. She explained everything in detail and went above and beyond to assist us with extra arrangements, such as booking a taxi, recommending great restaurants and shops, organizing excursions, and arranging additional services. She truly took care of us like a local. The house itself was stunning—spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The pool was immaculate, and the beautiful garden provided a lovely setting for outdoor dining. An absolutely breathtaking place! I wholeheartedly recommend it.
