Our stay at Lions Villa in Zanzibar was exceptional! From the get-go, Paola provided very useful information about the villa, its services, and the island, making our trip planning seamless. The villa itself was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and felt just like home. We made use of several services, including a private chef and island excursions, all of which were easily planned and precisely met our expectations. A special mention to our driver, Mohamed, who was fantastic and accommodated all our requests with a smile. Additionally, Mr. Davies took care of all our on-site requests, ensuring a smooth stay—he was truly fantastic. Overall, Lions Villa is a gem in Zanzibar, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vila Julito in Kiwengwa, Zanzibar, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Carlos, the owner, whose hospitality and friendliness made us feel right at home. The villa itself is beautiful, with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms that offer stunning views of the surroundings. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the pristine beach, where we spent many relaxing hours. Carlos was an incredible host, always available to assist with any needs or questions we had. He provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and activities, making our stay even more enjoyable. His dedication to ensuring that every guest has a memorable stay is truly commendable. Carol is an outstanding host—warm, incredibly helpful, and almost always available online. She explained everything in detail and went above and beyond to assist us with extra arrangements, such as booking a taxi, recommending great restaurants and shops, organizing excursions, and arranging additional services. She truly took care of us like a local. The house itself was stunning—spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The pool was immaculate, and the beautiful garden provided a lovely setting for outdoor dining. An absolutely breathtaking place! I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The Villa is new and beautiful in each part. The pool is private and there is a fence around it that guarantees the full privacy. Staff very nice and they were always available. It was cleaned very well and it is fully equipped, you can find all you need. I liked it a lot!

It's a quiet place. The house is located in a guarded area. The beach is a 5 minutes walk away. The pool was very nice. Wifi was slightly better than other places I have visited in Zanzibar. Every day you get a huge breakfast made for you in the villa. There is AC in every room so you can set the temperature to what you like. It felt really luxurious and we didn't feel anything was missing during our stay. Outside the area you need transport to get to stores, activities, so make sure you have contact information to drivers. There is plenty of ATMs within 5 minute drive and I had no issues withdrawing Tanzanian shillings from them.

A must visit! We ended up at Garden Beach Villas by coincidence after having another accommodation in the area cancelled. We did not expect a lot and were nicely surprised. Our stay was at the small villa which is comprised of great sized bathroom, clean bedroom and large living room area connected with kitchen which, despite being quite basic, is equipped with pretty much everything you need. The outdoor area is of a great size with chairs and a sunlounger - overlooking the beautifully cared for garden which offers direct access to calm and relaxing beach. Our breakfast was served on time and always fresh- we had fresh juice, fruit, pancakes, eggs and bread available. The staff was exceptional-smiley and welcoming always available to help with anything we needed. We were also joined by a family of cats and kittens that made our stay that much more enjoyable. Overall we loved our stay here and would like to thank the team (especially Mati) for making our stay feel like home away from home.
