Really friendly hosts and loved the experience of sleeping in a traditional Japanese house. The outdoor area with the barbecue was also really enjoyable and the house had everything we needed.

The location of this property is 40 minutes from Magome where we wanted to do the Magome to Tsumago walk. We chanced it in a random regional town and it’s been our most favourite house on our two week trip! The host was super friendly and helpful. The house is a genuine old (but amazing) Japanese house. It was also stocked with food and drinks and local rice to purchase. Would rate this 12/10 if we could!! We’ll be back for sure. Make sure you try the restaurant 50 metre walk down the road, Restaurant 88.

Lovely clean house with view off the rice fields! 30 minute drive to Magome-Juku and 38 min to Tsumago town by car, which is ideal. Owners have great communication, would definitely recommend this great stay!! 😄👍🏼

Beautiful house, loved the hinoki bath, with views to the mountains and the setting right in the middle of Magome. We had an excellent suggestion from Marisol our host to go to Hillbilly cafe for coffee and it was our daily drink each morning.
