I wish there were nice places to have dinner after 20:30 but that's part of spending time in the countryside.

Our room was just right and there was enough space for our luggage. Yoshi the host is a lovely person and gave great tips for sightseeing and restaurants, he also speaks excellent English.

I visited during the shoulder-low period in Nikko and had the hot spring all to myself for the duration of my stay. Private hot springs available but need-not-necessary The hotel is a very far walk from Tobu-Nikko, please utilize the shuttle bus service, especially if you have luggage. On the contrary, the hotel is near-next door to the Shrines and Temples of Nikko World Heritage Site, perfect location alongside the Tobu Bus - Shinkyo bus stop which enables you to head into Lake Chuzenji, Kegon Falls and Mt Nantai. The food was exceptional, such an experience really recommended to book the dinner plan. Very not touristic in the best way, hart to find in Japan.

Exceptionally great experience during our stay here, to be honest this hotel giving us the best experience from our entire Japan trip 10/10. Great location with lake view and balcony, good onset (not too hot). And the best part is their staffs and our half-board dinner, their dishes are cooked with great, fresh local ingredients with presentation on every menu. All people especially the front (Maybe owner or manager) are superb.
