With the majestic mountains of Cader Idris reflected in its waters, Tal-y-Llyn Lake is more than a scenic asset; the hotel owns the lake, which is noted for its superb fishing. Tynycornel was a well-known fishing hostelry as early as 1800 and guests enjoy priority access to Tal-y-Llyn's prized waters, together with fine river fishing. The location of the hotel was amazing, so picturesque. There are hiking trails close by or if you wish to be more laid back you can chill by the lake or in the community area of the hotel. I wish we stayed longer.

The property is non-smoking and is set 200 metres from Dolau Beach. Great location and enjoyed the balcony. Arrives by bus and was a short walk downhill from the stop.

If you would like to discover the area, cycling, fishing and canoeing are possible in the surroundings. Exceptional location directly opposite the sea view. Had an unobstructed sea view from the king size bed . Bedroom also had a lounge suite . Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended. Absolutely spotless and will stay there again.
