Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. A small alpaca farm is also on site, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. EVERYTHING!!! Location amazing, place soo cute. I felt like staying at a family. Attention to details, the design super nice especially the mountain rooms.

Guests have panoramic mountain and lake views. Free WiFi is available. Check-in and check-out went smooth and fast. The room and the house in general were neatly clean without any foreign smells. Bed and pillows were super comfy. We haven't slept that well for long time. Perfect location with 5-10 minutes walk to the public beach on the lake, which provided nice view, comfortable entrance to the water, benches. You can easily access all sightseeings in the region by car. Breakfast was the same every day, but delicious. Open buffet was available provided homemade yoghurts, various fresh fruits and berries, including even raspberry and blueberry, boiled eggs, flakes, dried fruits. In addition you get a plate of cheese and ham. Egg dishes could be cooked upon request. We enjoyed the views from a balcony. You get Wolfgangsee card, which gives you discounts for cable car, boat rides, rodelbahn and so on. Would be happy to come back.

The apartment had absolutely everything that we could've wanted. Extremely well furnished with beautiful crockery, great views. Host very friendly and responsive, accommodating to our requests also. In the summer there are many insects, but one of the windows had an insect screen so we could still enjoy the breeze without getting bitten - this is the kind of attention to detail you can expect from this place! Extremely affordable for such a lovely apartment. Access to bus 150 (direct to Salzburg/ Bad Ischl) from the main road is convenient. As this property is located within Salzburg province, we had the guest mobility ticket for free public transport within Salzburg.

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. It offers a private beach and a free bicycle and boat rental. I liked everything! The location is amazing, secluded and calm but also has everything you need like food at the restaurant or 5 minutes away by car at any supermarket. I would definitely come again. Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

Felt like home. :) We loved getting to know the owners and enjoyed a laid-back, nature filled vacation! Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful. Would love to return soon.

All rooms are tastefully furnished in a rustic style and offer wonderful views of the wildlife park and the mountains. Mini zoo/farm. Very clean room with a bed for kids. Spa hall. Breakfast room was so cozy and every room had a table reserved. The hotel is close to hiking paths. You can enjoy stars at night and do astro photography there (complete darkness and beautiful sky).
