It was a very nice hotel, the room I booked was the cheapest and was very small but the price matched it. The staff was very friendly. Close to hachioji station, less than 10 minutes walk.

I stayed at the hotel for a total of 27 days, pretty much all of November. While breakfast and meals are not provided for free, you are able to order meals and drinks whenever you feel like it 24 hours a day. Dialing the front desk is easy and quick and all you need to do is provide the codes for what you want to request that is written in the menu provided in the room. When leaving the hotel you have to leave your entrance card with the front staff, this way there is no risk of losing your card when you are out of the hotel, you get a note to bring back in order to get back in more easily but I'm sure even if you lose that note you can still get back in if you can be identified. The food and drinks you can order are delicious and are provided very swiftly after ordering. The room is incredibly clean, whenever you leave in the mornings they will ask you if you want the room cleaned or not, and if you say yes they will also ask when you plan on returning so they can ensure the room is cleaned by then. Whenever the room is cleaned, all supplies, amenities, water, coffee, tea, bath supplies are restocked and refreshed, so I recommend requesting a cleanup every 2 or 3 days or so if you are staying for a long time like I did. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating.

The hotel is modern and the location is just minutes away from the train station but in a quiet part of town. The restaurants and shopping street is in the other direction, but can easily be reached by foot. The breakfast is really special with very few but high-quality food items like specialty teas, granola, yogurt, fresh salad and baked goods. I requested a quiet room and got one.

Marroad Inn Hachioji, located just a 5-minute walk from JR Hachioji Station, offers simple rooms with free Wi-Fi. Mount Takao, a popular destination, is just 10 minutes away by train.
