Let’s start from the day I booked and reached out to the receptionists, they have been more than helpful and super friendly (something you don’t get to experience very often in other hotels). On my day of arrival (I had a very late check-in), everything worked and was prepared for pick-up (key in key box with code). The room and the bathroom were bigger than expected. Very clean and comfortable bed. I had a room on the street side. It wasn’t too noise, but for a summer day I would recommend you to book a room on the other side. Breakfast was very delicious, a variety of everything (bread, jam, cheese, ham, cornflakes, oat-meal, Jogurt, fruits, fresh juice,…) and not to forget a fresh brewed coffee. Since I had to work on Monday, I was able to take my breakfast upstairs. I had the pleasure to meet the receptionists in-person, each of them have been kind, warm and friendly. Not to forget always a smile on their face. Overall it’s a great hotel with amazing service that you get for a decent price.

The hotel is bed and breakfast only but it is central to an Italian restaurant, pizzeria and a kebabery. The local migros supermarket is a short walk away. A bus to St Gallen town can be taken every 15 minutes, one of which you can pay the driver (no 200) which is what you want when you have just arrived. The room was great, not big but adequate for a short stay. The bathroom was good with a perfect shower. I like the continental breakfast and it did not disappoint. We would stay here again. Lastly the hotel owner was was extremely friendly and welcoming.

As always the staff makes you feel warmly welcomed. I am always staying at this marvellous hotel if I have the chance, thanks to the wonderful staff and the excellent standard of the hotel facilities. It is always clean, comfortable and, exactly as the name suggests, very charming.

Excellent overnight stay in Arbon. This hotel is not near the center but if you are driving it doesn't matter. We had a warm greeting and found our rooms clean, comfortable, and had all necessary amenities. We opted to eat dinner at the hotel and found it was excellent, and we could even sit outside. The breakfast was also very good. There is some construction near the hotel to be aware of. Special thanks to Lena for being so hospitable.
