The place is amazing, and the service is even better. They take great care of you and stay attentive in case you need anything throughout your stay. Special mention to Olivers, Michael, and Jackie :) I’m definitely coming back!

The house is a traditional Swahili house, with a beautiful terrace and views, a tastefully decorated interior with all the necessary amenities and a well stacked kitchen, which is always a plus with kids. Our host Abadalla is quite simply the best host I’ve ever had - and we travel quite a bit. He was kind, thoughtful and basically carefully planned our entire stay, coordinating tours, recommending awesome local spots and day activities along the way. He took take of it all, from airport pick up, to sunset Dhow, to Lamu tour, he negotiated the prices and made the trip ultra smooth. He also served us beautiful breakfast every morning, with a large variety of fruits, Swahili pastries, omelettes, etc. He also stocked the fridge and made sure we always had drinking water for a very reasonable fee. The nicest and warmest guy, who also shared many special moments with us, and shared stories and history of Lamu as well. We would highly recommend Shela Bliss to anyone. An outstanding experience!

Banana Shamba Estate ligt in Lamu, op 6 minuten lopen van Manda Beach en 300 meter van Mnarani House. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin met een terras en uitzicht op de bergen. Appartement was werkelijk voorzien van alles, keukengerei enz. Omdat de douche geen druppel warm water gaf kregen we een kamer in het Banana house inclusief een ontbijt

LAMU HOUSE is gelegen in Lamu, op 1 minuten lopen van 18th Century Swahili House Museum, en biedt conciërgediensten, rookvrije kamers, een buitenzwembad, gratis WiFi en een restaurant. The people ! Everyone was so lovely and welcoming. Mildred was so helpful and kind. Additionally, the ambiance is so serene. Like a simple serenity. It’s an absolutely stunning property.

The Majlis Resort is located in Lamu with views of the Ras Kitau Bay on Manda Island. We loved everything. it's an amazing place with great food, extremely beautiful rooms, and a magical location
