The restaurants serves Caribbean dishes. The authentic Jamaican influence throughout the property depicting everyday life , culture and influences were appreciated as was the hotel tour conducted by Andre who took the time to explain the background of the hotel and artwork throughout. These local touches were hard to find in other resorts along the coast. The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them from ensuring our excursion went ahead after being potentially cancelled due to weather through to specially cooking food for me separate to the buffet as I have many dietary restrictions. The property was very clean and well maintained. Staff could be continuously seen clearing tables and glassware as well as cleaning public areas. The pool and beach staff also made sure out needs were looked after. We appreciated the private beach area for guests only. We were disappointed to have to leave but hope we can return one day.
