This recently renovated guest house is located 3.5 km from Porto Piccolo and 4.1 km from Tempio di Apollo. Guests can use the sauna and the hammam, or enjoy pool views. Pamela and Paolo were great hosts. The Villa is stunning. The amenities superb. It is close to the action in Syracuse (for me seeing the UNESCO sites) but far enough that you don't feel like you are in the city. There is an indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath right now. Outdoor pool almost ready for water to be added. Parking is free and onsite. Easy access to grocery stores too. The Villa has a full kitchen with a big fridge that guests can use as well as a small one in the room.

A hairdresser is also available. It's appreciated that they upgraded our room, which was spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast is truly excellent, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, as well as freshly made vegetable and fruit juices. They also offer a shuttle bus to the city center, though I didn’t have a chance to use it. A highly enjoyable stay!

The extensive buffet breakfast includes salami, homemade cakes, fresh fruit and juice made from Sicilian oranges. The restaurant with terrace specialises in local dishes, such as pasta with fresh anchovies, pine nuts and raisins. I was looking for an accessible place to reach by car. And I succeeded. I liked the room, the accessibility of the place, the attitude. The respectful attitude and the desire to help and solve things for us. The useful tips for a trip to Ragusa and Ortega. I loved the clear and wonderful pool. The breakfast. I recommend coming here... and be delighted. No ! Sorry! Run here!!!

The location of this hotel is perfect with an amazing view over the harbour and easy access to all of the attractions. The pool area was great for relaxing. It has an amazing bar on the top floor for sundowners.

Set on cliffs overlooking Siracusa and Ortygia Island, Minareto is a 5-star luxury hotel in the protected Plemmirio area. This property offers a quiet location, outdoor pool, 2 private beaches and unbeatable views. This is a beautiful resort. We are more used to an old Italian vibe so at first we had mixed feelings as the place is rather modern, but as our stay went on we really appreciated Minareto. There is a small sandy beach, a cliff with breathtaking views and a big (25 metres long) pool. It is absolutely not crowded (we were at the end of June) and you can fully relax. All the materials used are high quality, natural wooden and leather furniture, stone floors etc. There are no standard bars next to the beaches, you order everything via WhatsApp. Again, seemed strange at first but it turned out very convenient. The restaurant is outstanding, totalny aspiring for Michelin Star. There is a professional somelier (Saki, if I remember right) who deserves a special appraisal. In general it is a wonderwul place for enjoying sun, views and fancy food. The all day menu is less posh, you can get a big sandwich with chips if you wish. It is 15 minutes drive from Siracusa. You can take a taxi boat to the old town (Ortigia). There are rather no restaurant or shops in a walking distance.
