The Shanghai EDITION, is a unique and innovative hotel concept that is authentic, modern and personalized. This next generation urban luxury retreat is not merely a hotel, but an elegantly designed, intricately interlinked complex of structures, spaces, and settings that together offer a new kind of environment. An oasis of relaxed entertainment and comfort at the heart of one of the world’s most populous cities, The Shanghai EDITION’s style is naturally tailored to its guests’ needs and desires all under one roof. It encompasses a radical, living elegance that resonates with all generations. Invisible design done with honesty and conviction. The Shanghai EDITION is located at the northeast corner of Nanjing Road East and Henan Road in Puxi, West of Huangpu River on The Bund. Located at the core of the Bund Historical and Cultural Landscape Area, it is the origin of Shanghai's reputation as "a global architecture exposition". Its heritage buildings, many of them in the Beaux Arts style, date from 1920 to 1936, as the Bund developed into a major financial centre of Asia. The hotel offered a luxurious sophisticated experience but was also refined and elegant. We loved our room’s styling, the super comfortable beds and the glorious round bath. The Roof Bar on 29/f had amazing views, we loved the delicious dishes in the Cantonese restaurant and the Lobby Bar had wow factor and great cocktails.
