The room was very spacious. The family that runs the place was very helpful, and I got a good price on the whale watching tour through the hotel. Also I arrived in Mirissa a day earlier and they were very accommodating and gave me the room for an extra day.

It was a very nice place. They gave us a free upgrade, like an apartment style building. Very swish, clean lots of space. Both fridge and kitchenette. Really good value. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, Beach only very short walk away.

Beautiful place with really nice beach , owner welcomed us with welcome drink after travel in the hot weather and was exactly what was needed :) also showed us the baby turtles we had an opportunity to release in the sea later , food was amazing and the best fish I ever had which was caught the same evening , really good location and good place to be with family , alone or as couple :)

I loved this place so much. The hosts are super friendly (the couple and their daughters). The place is clean, about 10min from the beach, very calm.

Lantern is located along the white sandy beachfront and turquoise waters of Mirissa South. It features an outdoor pool, free WiFi access and complimentary parking.

Absolutely wonderful! The place is beautiful, right on the beach. Lovely swimming pools, good food and outstanding service from all of the happy staff. They honestly made the beginning of our holiday! I made a mistake when booking and had reserved a day before we actually arrived, and the terms and conditions with booking stated no cancellation or changing dates and we’re going to charge me 165€ to move the booking back a day but they sorted it for me free of charge. We then got delayed by two days due to our first flight being delayed which meant us missing the connection and having to stay in Istanbul for two nights which meant we had missed our booking entirely which I explained and asked to rebook (as the airline would pay for the days we missed anyway) and they just moved the booking again for us with no charge. All the staff are extremely polite, happy and helpful. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a hotel. On top of this, they also gave us a free upgrade!

Set among tropical gardens with flowers, ponds and hammocks, Spice House is a colonial-style hotel a 2-minute walk from Mirissa Beach.
