SpainClean comfortable room in the heart of the historic centre. Balcony giving an outstanding view across the gorge to the convent and surrounding countryside (but see 'What didn't you like'). It is a short walk to the cathedral and attractive main square with its numerous bars and restaurants. A good restaurant serving mainly Italian food is adjacent to the hotel.
The nearby car park is quite expensive but there is free street parking about 150 metres away. It was no problem parking near the hotel for a short time to unload/load luggage.
There was a surprisingly fast and efficient elevator to our 3rd floor room - not always the case in medieval, or even modern hotels.
