Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Een superleuke ryokan op een prachtige plek. De eigenaren waren heel aardig en behulpzaam. We aten er een fantastisch ontbijt, wat duildelijk met veel liefde was klaargemaakt. De ligging is perfect, midden in de hoofdstraat maar ‘s avonds heel rustig.

Hakuba Third Place Lodge is gelegen in Hakuba in de regio Nagano, dicht bij skiresort Hakuba Goryu. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. I’ll write this in English such that everyone could possibly get my opinion. This place is surprisingly good, it has a great location Goryu Escal plaza within walkable distance (appr. 6mins). And Goryu is the only one resort which has the night operation hours, so take advantage of that. Plenty of food options near the lodge. I was traveling alone and I had my good dining every night, get some local foods and beers what a great combination! Speaking of combo, this place has two Onsen (Hot tub) one private with little of extra charge and one public. It’s just a wonderful thing to do after days and days of skiing or snowboarding. For those who didn’t drive you should be fine as said this place has great location so you will be able to get back in multiple ways. Akira, the owner of this lodge and a skater from Tokyo, was being super helpful and informative to every of his guests, his crew members were very friendly it’s just a home place to stay at. They pick you up and drop you off at the nearest bus/train stop. They provide traffic information, map handouts, and discount tickets. Thanks to this place gave me the most impressive experience during my first visit in Japan. Arigato！

SAUNA VILLA 然 is gelegen in Nagano, op 15 minuten lopen van Zenkō-ji Tempel en 2,4 km van station Nagano, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis... Easy to check in. Rooms were very nice. Pictures don't do the place justice. Complementary amenities and even drinks. Very comfortable stay.

Urasa Cottage @ Snow Countryside bevindt zich in Minami Uonuma, op 29 km van Skiresort Gala Yuzawa en 25 km van skioord Maiko. Ms Li was super hospitable! We soon realized that we came from sunny Singapore and the family chatted comfortably. The place is very clean and amenities well planned and detailed. It was snowing heavily and the house had more than adequate heaters to keep us warm and comfy. Photos shown and description are exactly what you will get.

Snow Palace Nozawa bevindt zich op 21 km van skigebied Ryuoo Ski Park en 32 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park, en heeft kamers in Nozawa Onsen. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Venue feels brand new and very clean. Location is close to town, shops, restaurants and the slopes.

白馬の黒馬 DarkHorse @Hakuba bevindt zich in Hakuba, op 16 km van skigebied Tsugaike Kogen, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een bar. Satisfied with the dormitory capsule size. Staffs are always friendly and helpful. Pick up service was good, reliable and flexible. Although shared bathroom, it is not quite busy. And shower, toilet and sinks are separate, which is good. Vibe is nice, people lives in the same hostel will always gather around the fireplace and share their day or their culture.

11月フルリフォーム 12月オープン恐竜一色ゲストハウスDinosaur Guesthouse ligt in Katsuyama, op 26 km van Eiheiji-tempel, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Staying at the Guesthouse is a must if you go to Katsuyama and visit the dinosaur museum, especially if you have children, even older ones. The stay enhanced the experience. As other reviews have attested, I confirm the hospitality the owners provided us and went beyond our expectations. Many people will visit the museum as a day trip. However, I highly recommend staying overnight if you are a Japanese national with children or, like me, an international tourist.

Very good location, next to bus station! It’s a strategic base to explore the area. The room is spacious. Staff members are very friendly, energetic, efficient and helpful.

The Nomad Inn Gujo is een accommodatie 46 km in Gujo, opeen paar minuten lopen van Gero Station, en heeft voorzieningen zoals een keuken en flatscreen-tv. Right in the city center. It was a magical experience be so close to everything. Love to have the whole house for us. The owner welcomed us and helped us to go around.

Eau Sol Vert Karuizawa Club bevindt zich in Karuizawa, op 20 km van Honmachi Machiyakan, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een restaurant. Second time stayed with this hotel. Still nice and cosy. Great place to see some whild animals.
