The flat had everything needed to cook and live there, though I didn’t take advantage of that bit. It had wonderful views, comfortable beds and furniture and a bathroom for each room. The staff were great and it felt very safe. The rooftop pool was also excellent, though not heated, it felt amazing on a hot day!

A recently renovated property, Casa Esmeralda is set in Valparaíso near Caleta Portales Beach, Casona Mirador de Lukas and Turri Clock. It is situated 10 km from Viña del Mar Bus Terminal and features private check-in and check-out. The accommodation offers a lift, a shared kitchen and organising tours for guests. I love the location (in the downtown but close to the elevators to see the neighborhoods in the hills), the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms is excellent, the facilities are great, and the staff is very helpful.

I visited Rapa Nui for two nights in December 2024 and Kitai Cabanas was really the best place to stay and made my short trip wonderful. The hosts are lovely persons and make the guests to feel welcome. Even before arrival communication was great and all questions have been answered quickly. Pick up at the airport was included and drop off at departure as well. The cottage is spacious, clean and a fully eqipped kitchen (which I did not use though, as Kitai Cabanas is next to many good restaurants). Water dispender is in the room, which was convinient. Room, bath and kitchen have been clean and I had a nice terrace with garden view. There are many lovely cats arround. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. I booked also an island tour with the hosts and Kevin is an excellent guide. Very knowlegable about the history and culture of Rapa Nui.

We loved the bees, dogs, cat and the whole enviroment of this appartment. It was the highlight of our trip!

The property is around 4.7 km from Valparaiso Sporting Club, 11 km from Concon Sand Dunes and 13 km from Las Sirenas Square. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a tour desk for guests. When my Uber dropped me off here, he said that I would enjoy the neighborhood since it was safe and quiet. He was right! The moment I walked in I felt like I was in a sanctuary. This is one of the best hostels that I have stayed in this month. The kitchen is well appointed and the vibe is immaculate! If you stay here, use the space they have set aside for meditation. Brilliant!
