Cabanas Kitai is ideally located just by the sea, close to the main street and a food and beverage supermarket. Choosing to live in Cabanas Kitai was the right decision. The hosts, Kevin and Lynn, are young and enthusiastic and very familiar with the cultural traditions of Rapa Nui, and special thanks to Kevin for taking us on a detailed tour of Ana Te Pahu and Ana Kakenga. I confirmed the tour project through direct communication with Kevin on the Internet, and I was very satisfied.

A toaster, a fridge and kitchenware are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the apartment complex, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. The place is really good. It's a nice price for the quality of the space provided. You can request double bed or twin beds, just let the host know in advance. I really liked their interest in helping and making us comfortable ALL the time. You don't need to worry to pick-up a taxi at your arrival or departure, I'm sure they will be able to provide this service. There is a TV, you might need to connect your credentials to your favourite streaming services. The wifi works most of the time. I had one evening when it was slow since the rain impacted the network, but I don't use much internet. If you have Entel network, you can back up with your phone network. Towels were provided, which were useful to avoid space in ur bagagge. Supermarkets are in proximity t the site, like 2 mins away. The city center at 25 mins walking and the church at 10 mins walking. Ask for taxi numbers, so if you don't like walking, you can pay a taxi (between 3000-5000 clp the ride to the center). The washing machine service can be provided b the host at an extra cost.

At the holiday home, every unit includes bed linen and towels. the room was spotlessly clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable and the side lamps made it cosy in the evening. I loved having my own kitchen space and fridge and the private balcony was ideal for eating meals. the location is so peaceful, lots of birdsong in the morning (which is way more restful than the cockerals). its about a 30 minute walk from town but the walk is beautiful along the coast and pass the sunset moais (10 minute stroll or 5 mins to the solitary moai at the end of the road which you'll have all to yourself at sunset). other hotels in this price bracket are also a 30/40 minute walk but along streets so this location is a winner for me. the host (no english) but so friendly and helpful, always kept free drinking water, napkins and toilet paper stocked up. he even took me on a tour of his veg garden and introduced me to the mini melon. the place is peaceful, host friendly and accommodating, pickup to/from the airort included. I loved my stay here.

The place was spacious and spotless, communication was frequent and easy, and I loved having a patio to relax on at the end of the day.

Even prepared for me and my friend, best fish and rice we ever had! She is very caring and helpful, makes you feel at home, definitely a great place to stay on Easter Island

Set in Hanga Roa, Cabañas Moai is 200 metres from Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum. Tahai is 500 metres from the property. Free private parking is available on site.

The kindness of the host, the perfect location, the moaï in the garden or the peacefulness of this authentic Rapa Nui Cabaña ?.... Everything was perfect ! We stayed there 6 nights and didn't want to leave. Located 5mn away by walk from the beautiful Tahai moaï and only 20mn walk by the coast to reach the center of Hanga Roa. Māururu René, we will be back!

We loved our visit at Kona Koa - the houses are roomy and comfy, with lots of privacy and tranquility. The owners are wonderful hosts and were helpful in finding us a tour guide, as well as booking restaurants and shows. We hope to be back someday!
