Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago ligt in Shirakawa, op 45 km van Openluchtmuseum Hida Minzoku Mura, Hida no Sato, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een... Fantastische ervaring gehad. Beste hotel in japan. Klant vriendelijk proper en fijne ruime kamers. Super mooie omgeving zeker aangeraden.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. From you enter the reception you are met with a beautiful traditional Japanese interier, it is very well done. Everyone there were very polite and respectful, from staff to other guests. We three women arrived around 16, were able to select a cute yukata each we wore as much as possible for our one night stay, and were shown our room which were as big as a small apartment. We choose to go directly to the onsen which had just opened for the afternoon and had the place for ourselves. Very well stocked with brushes, hairties, lotions, everything free to use! the rooms were nice and comfortable, there was a beautiful tea set for us to use so we had a tea party in our yukatas, before dinner. We had paid for the dinner which was serving after serving of small dishes and a particularly tasty hida beef with miso dish. The beds and shower were great, nothing to complain about there, we had the traditional breakfast the day after with a self serve bar of drinks such as tea, coffee, juice and milk. Oh and we also went down to the onsen before breakfast and were once again alone to relax and take our time. It was probably the most expensive stay we have included on our trip but it was also by far the best experience we have had, and can recommend anyone to try it even just for a night like us, if not more ☺️

Oyado Koto No Yume ligt op slechts 2 minuten wandelen van het Station Takayama en biedt kamers in Japanse stijl met een kleurrijk tintje. Everything was simply perfect. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly! The rooms are spacious and while a bit dated, they are clean and very cozy. Being able to book a private hot bath was also very welcome. It is only a few minutes away from the Train/Bus station, but as soon as you enter the domain of the hotel, it feels as if you step from the city straight into an Onsen town. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night.

Historical Ryokan Hostel K's House Ito Onsen is gevestigd in een 100 jaar oud, historisch monument in Shizuoka en ligt op 7 minuten lopen van het JR treinstation van Ito. THE MOST MEMORABLE STAY IN JAPAN! I've changed 3 hostels, 2 ryokans, and this is definitely the best one!!! IT'S A HIDDEN GEM. AND I honestly hope it stays that way so I can book it on my next trip to Japan and stay here longer. YOU get access to two private onsens, one on each floor, and one public onsen on the ground floor, that I honestly even loved more than the private ones. Everything is super clean, taken care of with love and the staff is super nice, and they speak English in case you don't speak Japanese! The rooms are incredible, I loved sleeping on the futon, there was enough space in rooms for everybody to leave their luggage, and in the kitchen you could help yourself to free tea, coffee, jams, bread etc. The kitchen has everything you need, and you can even do laundry. Everything you need is there. The views from the room, and especially from the common room are incredible! They have a kotatsu, and books you can read. There's at least 5 sections in the common area in case you want privacy. Honestly the best ryokan ever. And it's affordable!!!

Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort ligt in de rustige Hida-bergen, en biedt traditionele accommodatie met warmwaterbronnen en uitzicht op de natuur. amazing amazing amazing ! wasn't overprice at all and available to hire private outside Onsen was awesome! as mixed couple who are Japanese and Turkish we hope there is some meal option for western one as well.

横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ bevindt zich in Shimoda, op 33 km van Koibito Misaki (Kaap van de Geliefden), en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een gedeelde lounge. We will be back! WOW. This was a shot in the dark booking since I couldn’t find a place near the beach that was tattoo friendly. We were blown away at the facility, amenities and overall beauty of the location. I booked 3 rooms. Everyone had their own private onsen bath. My husband and I upgraded to the sauna barrel room and we LOVED IT. The guys all did sauna in the morning. They even give you handmade authentic sauna hats. Breakfast was simple but filling. Half of the group did the Japanese style, half did American. My jumbo toast made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie having breakfast. There is a vending machine in the breakfast area was a variety of snacks and drinks. Our van made it on the roads to the property. So a standard vehicle will have no issue. Beautiful creak flowing in the backyard of every room. Every room has an entrance, toilet & sink room, living room (doubles as bedroom bc you have tatami beds), vanity sink & rack, THEN sliding door to your shower & bath, THEN sliding door to your porch with seating. Our room had the barrel immediately to the left of the porch with ANOTHER outdoor tub. Price was excellent!!

Syukaen Yunohanazen biedt 4-sterrenaccommodatie is gelegen in Atami, op 14 minuten lopen van Atami Sun Beach en 27 km van station Hakone-Yumoto. Two different hot spring baths, nice spread of food served to room for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff but a bit weak on speaking English.

Hakuunsou ligt in Takayama, op 48 km van treinstation Takayama en 26 km van Kamikochi, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis privéparkeren. De rust en de gastvrijheid is ongekend. De gastvrouw is zo ontzettend lief en hulpvaardig. Dacht met ons met wat betreft vervoer. Onsen zijn schoon en je slaapt traditioneel. Het is wat oubollig maar heeft ook weer z'n charme. Bushalte letterlijk voor de deur. Het eten is trouwens ook erg goed! Niets viel tegen echter moet je eigen vervoer of openbaar vervoer gebruiken om ergens een hapje te kunnen eten o.i.d. buiten deze fantastische accommodatie

Iroriyado Hidaya bevindt zich in Takayama, op 18 minuten lopen van treinstation Takayama, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een gedeelde lounge. We hebben een erg prettig verblijf gehad bij Iroriyado Hidaya. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam, de kamers waren erg ruim en mooi, het (Japanse) ontbijt was heerlijk, en de onsen erg fijn. Zeker een aanrader om te verblijven. Ons beste verblijf in Japan.
