Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Service was flawless, the food was perfect, and the baths were great. My room was good for my needs, it was quiet, and the waterfall and rivers outside was a great source of white noise. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay!

Simply - and by far - the best place that we stayed at while visiting Japan. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The Japanese style rooms are lovely and they have a great view. The food is delicious. The Kaiseki is nothing fancy, but it is all very well prepared and a great experience. There are various onsens, most of them we could enjoy almost by ourselves. Definitely recommend Okyakuya to anyone visiting Japan!

We stayed in the house with both indoor and outdoor private onsen and it was lifechanging.

Hotel Yumeshizuku ligt in Minami Aso in de regio Kumamoto, op 10 km van Naka-dake. Het beschikt over een warmwaterbron en een sauna. Everything was perfection - starting from my arrival, public bathhouse experience, the cozy room, delicious dinner and breakfast and very kind staff members. The view of Mt. Aso from the third floor lookout and the footbath area is impeccable. Also, much special thanks to Mr. Isao Tsugayasu, who was extremely helpful and kind to us throughout the stay! He truly made our experience at Yumeshizuku unforgettable. Thank you so much again for your kindness and hospitality. I look forward to my next stay at Yumeshizuku in the nearest future.

Nanjoen ligt in het centrum van de wijk Kurokawa Onsen en biedt in totaal 8 warmwaterbronnen binnen en buiten. THis was my first stay in a Ryokan and it did not disappoint. THe whole experience was magical - the room, the view over the hills, forest and town, the baths. The meals were excellent - two different breakfasts and and we took to the opportunity to have the Kaiseki dinners - an amazing assortment of tastes and textures. Kurokawa is a magical town that is wonderful to walk aroundand we took the opportunity to get an Onsen passport to try a few of the other baths. THe parking is easy. THe staff were excellent and patiently helped us understand the way to to enjoy a Ryokan

Fumoto Ryokan biedt verschillende binnen- en buitenbaden met warm bronwater en traditionele accommodatie in Japanse stijl met historische charme. I like the female service staffs that good communication in english and help me to setting up the surprise happy birthday party for my daughters.
