Staff are nice and professional. Great arrangement and communication in advance. Private onsen is perfect for a family with kids and elderly. We stayed here for 2 nights with great variety of food.

Location is great if you're in a car and it's easy to explore the nearby Aso-Kuju National Park from there.

Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan beschikt over 5 warmwaterbronnen, waaronder een 30 meter lang grotbad. The osen experience is unique. We did the cave and the open-air osen. The old building, and the open-fire grill for dinner, the beef, etc... It is right next to the river and it is in the center of the town. Very conveniently located. A lot of tourists take selfies in front of the buildings so it is a destination on its own.

Hotel Yumeshizuku ligt in Minami Aso in de regio Kumamoto, op 10 km van Naka-dake. Het beschikt over een warmwaterbron en een sauna. The dinner was delicious, really enjoyed.

Great location, very nice setting and loved the different Onsen. The food was amazing and the staff very thoughtful and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
