It’s located 5-10 minutes from the town where there are many nice places to eat and a short walk from the main attractions. The host is amazing and he owns a coffee shop and restaraunt 5 minutes away which serves lovely coffee & breakfast. Highly recommended.

At the ryokan, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Such a beautiful accommodation! Very clean (loved the incense as well), spacious and peaceful. The staff was super friendly, I felt very welcome. Food and drinks were delicious and the private onsen was very relaxing. Definitely one of the highlights of my Japan trip. Please stay here if you're planning on visiting Kanazawa!

The central location, the accommodating staff, the many room choices, the very nice onsen bath, the easy and pleasant common room, the perfect pillows and non-down comforters, the very quiet neighborhood. We stayed in the quiet second floor family room (with restrooms also on the second floor.) For what you get, this place is a bargain! Also, the incredible Kanazawa Curry Laboratory restaurant is only a few blocks away. Best three nights sleep we have had in years of visiting Japan!
