We were lucky enough to spot harmless baby reef sharks and an incredible variety of colorful fish — right from the shore! The staff is exceptional — incredibly kind, courteous, and always available to help with a warm smile. The entire resort is beautifully maintained and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The food is excellent — fresh, well-prepared, and with enough variety to satisfy any craving. Of course, prices are a bit higher than your average Thai street food, but totally reasonable and expected in a resort of this level. A very special mention goes to Kru Def, the Muay Thai instructor, who offered private sessions tailored to our needs. He’s a great teacher — professional, passionate, and patient. Training with him was one of the highlights of our stay! We’d recommend Sai Daeng Resort to anyone looking for natural beauty, relaxation, and a touch of adventure. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Located in very quiet part of the island, villa is amazing, very comfortable and spacious with AMAZING view. Cape shark villas offer transport to the center and to the pier but also have number of options for restaurant and massage which you can order to the villa. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The villa was modern, very spacious with all amenities needed. Shower was a room on its own. Housekeeping was amazing with an abundance of clean beach and bathroom towels. Location is 5 star on the main walking street of Sairee Beach yet the rooms are quiet. The restaurants staff was fantastic, food exceptionally well priced and great quality and taste! Could not fault this property in any way!

To relax, guests can take a stroll in the garden. Travel and sightseeing arrangements can also be made at the tour desk. The staff were very nice and very helpful and friendly and considerate. The location is above Tanote bay that has tons of fish and corals. Beautiful for snorkeling. It's about 5 minutes walk down and 10 minutes up. There are some nice restaurants at the beach that are not bad, though not as good as in the hotel itself. It's a 10 minute drive to the pier, Sairee, or aow leuk. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The beds were great! There is a free shuttle to the pier twice a day that is also very convenient.

Surrounded by a coconut plantation, The Plantation Koh Tao offers cosy accommodation and is located only 300 metres from Sairee Beach. Several bars and restaurants are located nearby. Guests enjoy a free pick-up from the pier. When we opened the door to the balcony, we knew we had made the right choice- sweeping ocean view through thr palm treetops, peaceful ocean breeze, privacy... The Plantation Koh Tao was within our budget and we could not have been happier with our stay. Huge genuine smile upon BOTH reception AND checkout, cozy and sparkling clean room, super convenient location. The only trouble is you won't want to leave your room, ironically it was one of the best destinations and views we found on the island without even having to explore it, through from here you certainly can!
