We were provided with an electric kettle, some tea and coffee, and also with some staff of sanitary kit (shampoo, soap, body lotion). The breakfast was really delicious, cooked by the host family. Also, we arranged a safari trip to see elephants which was an unforgettable life-experience! Highly recommended to families with children. This place is definitely one of the most loved accommodations in Sri Lanka!

The manager, Denusha, helped us organize our trip with a safari, taxi from the airport and to Dambulla, fun converstations and even dropped us off at our bus stop. The location was peaceful and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. It was close enough that we could walk to the lion rock and the Piderangela hike also.

Thal Sewana being more closer to the wilderness promises your stay memorable and much more relaxing…. This has been our favourite stay so far! The location is the absolute best if you are hoping to hike up Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rock. The bed was comfortable, the showers had hot water, the food was delish and the ladies who own and run this homestay are the sweetest and most incredible. She was our Sri Lankan Grandma and took such good care of us. Amazing food and great recommendations! You can just tell how much love and passion they have put into everything. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Out of all 7 weeks in Sri Lanka our 3 nights here were the best, and it was 90% due to this Homestay!!! We felt amazingly at home! Chamika was WONDERFUL. He hiked up to pidurangula with us and brought us surprise coffee in a coconut, and didn’t ask for anything in return! We did a cooking class and ate some of the best food ever, and chamika went to swim in a lake with us! The room was as exactly as described with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing everyday and just laying on the rock with a view of the lake was stunning! Overall if I could rate this place 1000 stars I would! Thank you guys so much!
