Rooms at the Hotel Margherita have whitewashed walls and tiled floors. Each comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries in the private bathroom. The location in town was perfect. What a delightful place to rest and enjoy a wonderful town.

Everything from staff, to room, to the cleanliness of the entire hotel, to the location, the views, the breakfast were excellent! I don’t write reviews often, or at all. I also did not want to write this one to gate keep this property😅 But they deserve the recognition. Book it with your eyes closed.

Great place , can’t believe it’s only 3* It’s one of those hotels high up and overlooking everything that makes you wonder what it’s like to stay there , and I can tell you it was great ! Free shuttle bus to deal with the hill down to town and back up ! I’d read somewhere that breakfast was only a croissant/cake affair , well it’s not , it’s a comprehensive hot and cold buffet that is most enjoyable .

Room and premises were very clean with all the right necessities. Good strong shower and hair blower which was greatly appreciated and good recommendations for dinner. I had some difficulty with the approximately 30 steps as the apt was on top floor, but I managed and Giorgio was very helpful in bringing up my suitcase. Location of building was perfect, very central and easy to find. After visiting all the villages, I was very happy I chose Monterosso as our home base because it had the greatest amenities, great restaurants, beautiful churches, the largest of the villages, a nice beach with umbrellas and above all, it is not hilly! We parked in the Loretta carpark, arrived at 4 pm and 3 spots were available. We stayed 2 nights and visited all the villages in one day by express train which I highly recommend as trains pass every 20 min. We bought the train pass, 18 E for the day at the ticket office by the train station. Overall a fabulous 2 days and a very satisfactory stay at Marianna Quiet Rooms.

She proceeded to show us everything we needed to know!
