Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Lovely, LOVELY property. The room we stayed in was exactly as described - great king bed, clean en-suite bathroom & shower (clean! hot water! soap provided!), fresh drinking water available and free, easy check-in, perfect location (but TBH the island is so small, there really isn’t a bad spot to be). We also booked a last minute tour for Tikal through this hotel and it was perfect and just as advertised (150Q for the transport + guide, and 150Q for the park ticket).

They have a small wardrobe, tiled floors and a shared bathroom with free amenities. Most of the rooms have views of the gardens and access to all the hotel amenities too. Location was spot on to complete this section of my trip.

Hotel Villa del Lago is located on the island of Flores, right on Lake Peten Itza. It features excellent lake views, in addition to free WiFi.

Each room here is air-conditioned and includes a cable TV, a safety-deposit box and a desk. They also feature a private bathroom with a shower. We had booked a superior room and it was absolutely first class, with amazing views of the sunrise over the lake from the large private balcony. The bed was comfortable, decor was lovely and the big shower was good. Breakfast was included and was delicious, with plenty of choice, and although there was no bar you could buy cold drinks from reception. The tour to Tikal was good value.

Hotel Jaguar Inn Tikal is located inside the Tikal National Park surrounded by jungle and only a 10-minute walk from the temples of Tikal. It features free Wi-Fi in the restaurant and rooms, as well as offering archaeological tours of Tikal, Yaxha, and Uaxactun. Very helpful friendly staff arranged park tickets and an excellent guide plus airport transfer which included stopping in Flores Great food and drink at restaurant Great location in the park had Tikal to myself at 8am which was amazing Good value for money

All air-conditioned rooms offer views of the lake, pool or gardens. They have a safe and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. A 32-inch flat-screen TV is also provided. It was really good, and the staff were very friendly.
