Great location, lovely building, good breakfast.

I had a lovely big room divided between bedroom, lounge, bathroom and an outside yard to sit in. A hairdryer, toiletries, an iron and breakfast were included. Everywhere was very clean, lots of hot water in the shower and the staff were always polite and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and it was a great location, being a short walk from the main plaza with cafes and restaurants and a short taxi ride from the bus terminal and airport.

We had a comfortable and relaxing time at hotel achalay. Receptionist Jely and Andres were extremely friendly and helpful! Even though we couldn't speak good spanish, they were really patient and tried to initiate to help us. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were also helpful and kind! We appreciate it for everything. Location is perfect.. right in the central and got everything you need nearby. Love Popayán this small beautiful white town plus the super helpful friendly people.

The rooms are really comfortable and beautifully furnished. The staff is friendly and values the privacy of the guests. The jacuzzi (additional cost) is great! We arrived at the end of the afternoon after a long trip, and didn't fancy going out for dinner. The staff ordered some dinner for us which was delivered on our terrace. Breakfast in the morning is served on your own terrace as well. The view from the terrace in the morning is great! The location is on a 15 minute walk from the center (partly on a dirt road).

Great staff, perfect location, nice breakfast, comfy bed, lovely art inside the place, cosy vibe.
