We booked the room “at the last minute” and stayed very satisfied with our choice - we liked everything. Starting from a free parking, very kind staff, comfortable bed, breakfast. Hotel is right in the city centre, but we were there in a working day and during night it was surprisingly quiet. We also enjoyed our dinner at hotel’s restaurant and it was great - very delicious.

SPA was definitely the highlight! The sauna/pool complex is bigger than one could expect. Hotel cosy, clean. Nice view from the room. Restaurant serves decent dinners and breakfasts.

So many small food details (2 types staffed small pickeled pepers, 2 tipes of olives, 5 tipes of chees, 3 tipes of sliced salamy, boiled domstic eggs just perfectly done, 4 tyles of bread, cheery tomatoes.Apple strudel, poppy strudel, nuts, creemy greek yogurt...what can I say more than excellent. From the minute we arrived we felt so welcome. What a wonderful hotel. Family run and in a great central location in the the stunning town of Melk. incredible Views to the Palace. We hired electric bikes the first day (10€ for half a day) gorgeous 50km cycle up to Spitz and back (lots of places to stop for wine and beer!) Next day went to a family wedding in Wasserkirken by BOAT! we asked SO many question at reception and they were consistently helpful. The food is delicious too, so many homemade delicacies. We cant wait to go back!
