Dar Hi was a huge surprise. I haven't seen many places like this and the architect of the hotel deserves a big award. Incredible views of the city, gorgeous interior, really excellent cuisine and all this complemented by a really attentive staff. The icing on the cake is the hammam and heated pool. I regret that we could not stay more than one night.

This traditional Tunisian house is located in Tozeur city centre, on the edge of the desert and a few steps from the salt lake, Chott El Djerid. It offers a hammam and modern rooms.

the hotel is like a dream place. You will find peace the moment you enter inside. please do not call outside for desert tours. they provide support on the tour and the tour picks you up at the door. There is a very caring and courteous reception about everything. The housekeeping staff even folded and gathered the clothes we distributed and put them in our suitcase. Taieb and Fatima simply love having guests, cooking delicious food and doing everything to make you have the best imaginable experience while travelling. They are very helpful in planning your activties in the region arround Tozeur and beyond. Just ask them, they have a lot of good recommendations and know good places to go to! We had freshly cooked homemade vegetarian (!) dinner every night, as well as superior breakfast every morning with freshly made Omelette, home made jams, homemade bread and fresh dates from their own garden. Thank you so much for everything, we had the best time with you in your lovely home!
