Fabulous and gloria new hotel. The rooms are impeccable. Comfortable bed, beautiful linens, very comfortable furniture, spacious and a desk big enough to use. Lots of closet space and drawers ( if you want to unpack your luggage. Great bathroom. And the tickets for a free drink ( or coffee) get you a top rail drink happily served by friendly staff. G&T with Hendrick’s gin and Fever Few tonic. It’s a modern look in the rooms all shades of grey ( but not 50 Shades of Grey) . Front desk staff friendly and helpful.

Large, comfortable rooms in a beautiful, historic hotel. There is a spa in the garden that is open for hotel guest use. I was delighted with the hotel's location. It was remarkably quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable. The restaurants was a culinary delight. The food was not only delicious but also well-presented, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. I must commend your staff for their exceptional hospitality. Every member of your team was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist, which truly enhanced my overall experience. The entire property is a true gem. Its beauty and comfort made me feel right at home throughout my stay, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and amenities. The only suggestion I would like to offer is the addition of an elevator, as it would further enhance the accessibility and convenience of your establishment. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. I look forward to returning in the future

we had been traveling for some weeks when we reached eichardts, so having laundry facilities in our apartment suite were an unexpected bonus. The nice kitchen also gave us the ability to cook some food items which we like without going out to a restaurant. The locaction of eichardts at the waterfront promenade was beautiful and got us close to all the local bars and tours. We were served a liesurly but excellent free breakfast in the eichardts bar. Great and helpful hotel staff. Queenstown on the wharf is so beautiful, dont go to the uphill accomodations

A very good hotel. We had an executive suite that was very comfortable. First night was a bit warm, but that was our own fault: we should have set the room temp a little lower. After we did that, we slept the second night like a log. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Easy to charge our car on the complimentary Tesla Destination Charger in the parking basement.

We booked a cabin for 3 nights. Us and our 2yr old and 4yr old. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It has a lovely little deck area then onto a lawn which was perfect for the children. A playground in the main camping area also fab. Toilets and showers really close. Everything was clean and the owners are lovely. We had such a great time.

The night life in Restaurants & Bistros is amazing with an enormous range of tastes & styles. Staff , whatever nationality are helpful & fun. Sadly the daytime sights are less so as the traditional part of the city is being overwhelmed with glass & steel black box constructions , typical of "modern" soulless architecture. Clean & tidy but meaningless. The Botanic gardens are always worth a visit even though we were slightly ahead of the roses in bloom.

October. We stayed at Te Anau 2 nights. It's a great little town ,very pretty with tulips and rhododendrons flowering. Middle day we drove to Milford Sound and back . This definitely is a 2hr drive each way . Would be more in busy times due to traffic or if very wet. If you don't travel to Fjordlands region you are missing a lot! After checkout we then drove to Manapouri 15 mins away-this is the departure point- as we had an overnight stay booked on The Navigator in Doubtful Sound - Definitely recommend this.

Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.
