Everyone was super helpful and nice all the time. Snorkeling gear and a orientation snorkeling was included and we booked one of the many excursions they offer which was amazing too. Can absolutely recommend this place if you come to mahibadhoo.

RussiaThe property is nested in pristine jungle a bit further away from the busy streets and closer to the beach area. There’s a bit of construction happening outside, which does not interfere with you having a great time. The hotel is being run by a highly friendly hospitable family with all the members taking part in looking after you - they are cooking, cleaning, showing you round the island, arranging tours for you, speed boats if you want to explore other places, everyone speaks perfect English. The rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated. There is a no plastic policy in the hotel, which also makes it environmentally friendly. Tea, coffee and breakfast are available in a comfortable lobby area. You can also rent bikes (including bikes with child seats). The staff are very friendly with the kids as well, i could even sometimes leave my son with them while working, which was extremely convenient. The wifi connection allowed me to hold multiple zoom sessions. All in all, i highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to explore this beautiful welcoming island!

Everything was amazing, great bed, cleaning every day, hot shower, good breakfast, even a world electricity socket. And the diving with Go Divers was amazing too (manta’s, whale shark, turtles).

SingaporeThis is the 5th time we were in Maldive and among all local hotel that we had been through, Belmar beach gives us the best experienced. Below are the reasons:
1. The hotel room & toilet were clean and very functional - I would give a rating of 9 out of 10.
2. We have a beach front room and was very convenient to the beach with beautiful view and lots of privacy, the beach was clean and not even dry leaves, (everymorning there will be cleaner cleaning up all the dry leaves) - 9 out of 10.
3. The in house reef was also another plus point, without the need to travel any place further and we get to enjoy our snorkeling - 8 out of 10.
4. Everyday , we enjoyed our lunch and dinner there because the hotel has a very good chef. We are not easy to be please with food but for this chef , we give a thumbs up - 10 out of 10.
5. Activities - we went for lobster hunt and we had 2 lobster plus 1 fish catch for our dinner. we went for sunset fishing trip and we caught 19 fishes in 2 hours. They knows exactly which is the spot to catch the fish, so Sunset fishing is a must go activities, likewise for Lobster hunting. and we have 4 fishes for our beach front dinner , which was a surprise arrangement by the hotel staff - 9 out of 10.
6. The island is very well located , as most activities are not too far away from the island and that make it convenient without having to take hours just to reach the activity location - 9 out of 10.

Overall, all was great, best vacation we've had, wonderful honeymoon! Location was amazing, we got a sunset water villa with a jacuzzi, rays would swim around our stairs, it was 5 meters snorkeling to the reef.
Food was awesome, varied, buffet style, we tried both all inclusive and full board. We found the latter more cost effective as we didn't drink that many coctails and water was included for all meals, plus tea/coffee/juice for breakfast. I highly recommend the candlelight dinner at the beach with grilled lobster. We had an amazing server, Shafan, who took excellent care of us for 3 hours. Best and most romantic dinner I've had, and I've had many!
We spent nine days and always had plenty to do. We snorkeled every day. Vilamendhoo has a wonderful live reef. We saw a turtle, eagle and sting rays, sharks (I'm in general very wary of these creatures and had some apprehension coming in but these were cute and harmless), a muray eele, and all sorts of wonderful colorful fish. Bring a gopro camera!
We took a full day trip looking for whale sharks, turtles, and manta rays. We missed the whale shark by about 15 minutes but swimming with manta rays was memorable. We did 5 our six snorkels with them, led by a great guide Haisham. Afterwards he was kind enough to send us cool pictures and a video from the day.
The all inclusive package also includes a 30 minute photo shoot. We got some great pictures out of it, like a postcard, no filter. Other highlights included night snorkeling (we'll have to come back for fluo), windsurfing, seeing cool birds and orange fruit bats, as well as a free dinner at the Asian wok restaurant (part of the 5 day all inclusive package, great atmosphere and view, baby sharks have their meeting place under the restaurant).
The villa was great, clean, and cleaned twice daily. There were no bugs in it and overall very few on the island.

This was one of our best experiences we ever had. We stayed for our honeymoon in the jacuzzi water villa with the sunset view. There are no words to describe how amazing the staff at this resort is. Thank you so much for making this trip so memorable and special for us!! Our host Alena was amazing, sweet and caring. The island is perfectly maintained, it is soo clean! Room service is done 2 times a day and was done extremely professionally.
The food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
I am allergic to mushrooms, and the stuff was really keen to prepare the same dish without them if I asked. I didn’t even needed to mention it again to the cooks as they remembered about my allergy and made sure I do not pick up some inappropriate dish accidentally in the following days of stay!
Furthermore, head chef did quite a good job on creating a wonderful menu for a breakfast, lunch, buffer dinner and Christmas gala dinner! We were seriously impressed by the variety of food and interesting combinations of flavours!! Thank you so much!
We have been to other two five-star resorts in Maldives, and honestly it is not even comparable! We met guests on Veligandu island, who had their second or third time stay here. I believe that if people are choosing the same resort again and again this indicates something.❤️
The island is quite small, but we were never bored here. We really enjoyed the house reef, because it is full of life! We saw turtles, different types of rays, ocellaris clownfish and many other types of fish, baby sharks and crabs are everywhere!! 🦀🦈
And finally, the bananas growing on this island are literally out of this world!!so tasty! 🍌

The house reef really worth to go and see there for: it's just few steps from the shore with many fishes, live corals, anemone fishes (clownfishes), baby sharks, some sea turtles. We were even lucky to see one Manta. We enjoyed free snorkelling equipment. Only be aware that there are always strong currents arround the island, but we thought they are pretty safe. Besides - water sport instructors organize a free snorrkeling guide twice a day. We enjoyed a very good soundproof of the water villa, even on strong wind / waves day / night. The food is always fresh and tasty. The wi-fi is pretty good. We didn' lock the door of our water villa - we felt very safe there. We enjoyed a Vertical reef and Coral garden excursion - highly recommended. There is some very good vibe on this island which you can't love. It's not a cheap resort, but it's worth 100%. Some day we'll come back :)

Beautifully and remotely located, takes about an hour to reach in a fast speedboat. Well maintained rooms with everything you need. Transport was very well arranged both when arriving and when leaving.
We had a water villa which was very good value for money, a spacious room with room for an extra bed and a very large bathroom. The bathroom was also accessible from the patio of the villa to shower off saltwater after snorkeling.
Snorkeling opportunities were good right outside the room, and we saw a lot of reef sharks.
Food was excellent and varied, I highly recommend booking at least full board. If you like to drink a lot go for all inclusive, but we didn’t reach that even when drinking to our hearts content.
Excursions are available, and the ones we went on were very well arranged with excellent guides who cared a lot both for the guests and the marine life.

A resort that exceeds expectations, from the moment you arrive you will feel it, a service you won't find anywhere else Starting from Dariana welcoming us, and her attention to the smallest details to ensure that you have a wonderful vacation, ending with a wonderful lounge to wait for the seaplane to take you to the airport, the overwater villa is beyond description, the food is fantastic and hassan was profisional, crystal water will make you feel like you are in a dream, I believe that a trip to the Maldives aims for the wonderful villa, distinguished service, delicious food, stunning beaches, and clear waters, and in Halavali you will find it all, In conclusion I believe that Ari Atoll has the best islands for the clarity of its waters, beaches, and distinctive marine life such as the whale sharks.

This was my second stay at LUX and once again it was a truly special experience. We stayed in August, with wonderful weather, in a beautiful water villa overlooking the crystal-clear sea. The resort is enchanting: the island is large and well equipped, offering many facilities such as a gym, diving center, six restaurants and several bars. The international breakfast was excellent and served in two different restaurants. During our stay we dined almost every evening at Umami, the Japanese restaurant: outstanding food thanks to Chef Jester and impeccable service by Reehaan. I highly recommend trying it.

The resort was just the right size; neither too big or small. They seem to cater for couples rather than families which meant there were less people at the resort allowing the staff to be more attentive.
Everyone was super friendly and the service was 5 star along with the food.
We know of a few couples who visited Meeru island for their honeymoon and we did a lot of research and comparisons with Meeru but chose diamonds Thudufushi, and we have absolutely no regrets.
Highly recommend this resort for couples.

Gangehi Island resort was a dream resort - this is one of the best places to visit in Maldives.
Myself and my wife had requested vegetarian meal - the breakfast and dinner had so many options that we were eating 3 plates every day. The rooms were amazing. The shower idea that has you hearing the ocean while shower just brought that extra special feeling.
To be able to open your balcony door, go out and straight into the Indian ocean.
Amazing friendly staff - always wishing you well.

The food is amazingly delicious, not to mention the restaurant staff, Zakir, the restaurant manager, Sushma, Alam, Rimod, Vijay, Hamdy, Nanda, and Rakesh the chef with amazing hands... the fruit guy, too, does art with fruits. The housekeeping is wonderful. They do the cleaning twice a day. Crime rate is 0%, lost my phone on the island, and it was found and given back to me. Will give them 100% .

Small privat beach at deluxxe beach villa realy give you feeling of your own small paradise in the midle of indian ocean. Clean and comfortable space and egzotic sound of silence inside and outside, with moustly inisible but always smilenig staf in atmosphere of small green tropical haven make you feel very peacefull and relaxed. Last but not least Nika time is exscelemt idea which give you oportunity to enjoi all 12 hours of daylight on Maldives.

This is simply my fav island! Moofushi is a green island (meaning not only sea), but what I praise the staff more for is the environmental friendliness of the resort.
Speaking of which : no more additional water bungalows, please! Let’s take care of Moofushi’ s beautiful house reef ❤️❤️

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello.
There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food.
There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists.
We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄
The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there

You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than...
You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways.
Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants.
Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type.
Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out.
Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got.
Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. I was pleased with both Mathiveri and Mathiveri Finholu: the beaches are clean, the sand does not burn your feet, and there is a comfortable "coolness" in the shade of the trees.

The jetty area offers a fantastic viewpoint for spotting nurse sharks, and the island is ideal for snorkeling with vibrant marine life. It's conveniently located not too far from Male' city, and nearby sandbanks add to the charm. The island also offers exciting excursions and diving trips, making it a perfect destination for adventure and relaxation.
