The minibar was full at ariving and did not had to pay for that unless refilled.
We had teas and coffee in the room as well.
I especially enjoyed the big flat screen as I could watch my Netflix series before getting asleep 😆 and the wonderful bed.
Special thanks to all the staff who was always helpful and nice: Regie, Sofi, Deepak, Nikesh, Santiago, the chef from the inside restaurant.
The girls from the reception, the cleaning ladies, everyone made our stay excellent!
The breakfast was surprinsingly variate and so not expected on our side. First night (and later decided on all the other nights) we had dinner at the restaurant ALTA CUCINA of the hotel and the food was delicious. Plus we got a bottle of wine on the house in our first night. We tried almost everything from the menu. Absolutely delicious!
I also loved the SPA area, though the services were a bit pricey comparing to everything else, which I did not try so I cannot evaluate properly. However, the pool, jacuzzi and the sauna were free of charge.
I regret I did not make it to see the rooftoop pool, although I have thought about that before leaving.
Well, it can count as a reason to come back sometime soon, right? 😁
The shuttle from the airpoirt to the hotel and viceversa was an inspired choice, as we had to cross most of the country to get to BWP.
What I did not realize was the difference on the timing, as Booking apparently considered the Romanian timezone, and we were actually at one hour difference in Malta. This is something you shall consider if you opt for shuttle.
Luckily, I checked the app in time and everything went smooth with that too. We even got a postcard from the driver as a souvenir which was very nice.
People there are very friendly and open, always willing to help.
Malta was a great stay for me and I would recommend Best Western Premier Hotel 100%.

GermanyLoved Amery to bits , we stayed there for almost a week. We were given a super warm welcome by the staff at the reception (Shout out to Maya) . She explained us everything about Malta using a map along with places to go , public transport or travel options to get there. They also offer beach towels when you visit the beach. The breakfast is the most perfect start of the day , they have a very thoughtful curated menu. The location is perfect.

They arranged a very smooth check in. We were told we could be there earlier as long as the room was ready, it was not the case though 😅; however our plan was to grab some lunch or walk around. They offered us to visit the swimming pool and we got towels! So we didn't have to worry about that.
The room is huge! It's clean, it has AC, TV with option to access Netflix or Amazon Prime.! And in the bathroom you have cold/hot water and a hair dryer
The hotel is located barely 100 meters away from a bus stop so it has an easy access and you have good restaurants around, grocery shops, bars.
The girl from the reception was AMAZING!!!

Since we arrived at the Pergola Hotel we were extremely welcomed.
Rouselle, the receptionist, was so friendly, kind and mainly patient with us and all ours doubts. Also helped us to choose the best excursions to the others islands. We got very thankful.
About the room, it was very comfortable with kitchen utilities.
We enjoyed a lot spending time at night drinking some wine while felt the Mediterranean brease (an amazing vibe).
The hotel is perfect, very well located, with many restaurants around for all kind of travelers. There are 3 swimming pools in the hotel and all are very clean. It has a big restaurant and also a bar beside the outdoor pool, an amazing place to stay and see the day goes out.
A good thing is that the hotel has a lot of discounts and promos you can enjoy anywhere, both in restaurant services and outside the restaurant.
The Melieha Bay is perfect to go with kids or only laydown and relax the sun/sea.
The spa also deserves a word.
I had one of the best experiences I have had in a Spa. As a masseur, I'm used to receive massages but nothing like what I had here. I also was very welcomed by Onidia, she explained everything about the massages I would like and helped us to get the best experience. She also showed us the spa and the amazing products they use, impossible don't enjoy the spa services.
We chose hydrobath massage with a glass of prosecco (we highly recommend, mainly for couples - so relaxing and romantic) and the Enchanted Aromas Getaway spa experience. The massage room was prepered for both of us and the masseurs (Melrose and Katherine) was very gently and made the massages in the pressure that we asked.
Beyond all of these, we felt so happy cause the hotel is very gay friendly. In our room they had the care to leave the spa folder personalized with a gay couple and we, as a woman couple, felt very well with.
Once again, thanks a lot for the amazing experience.

Stopped for a week. A room with a beautiful view of the St. George's bay. Good new hotel, responsive staff. I especially want to note and thank Hanifan, she resolved our problem immediately.
A very good breakfast, barista prepares delicious coffee, there is always freshly alive orange juice.
Staff cleans room and changing towels every day without reminders, the bed is large and comfortable. The hotel is located above the shopping center, it is very convenient - good shops and cafes. In Steak House was very good menu.
A small rooftop pool with a wonderful look and excellent service.
Around is a little noisy in the evenings - music from neighboring cafes, but this even gives charm. The location is excellent- it is convenient to get to all attractions.

The location is perfect - right at the bay, close to the bus stop and big supermarket, in a quiet area, but close to all the fun. Freshly renovated, clean, met expectations based on the pics, nice view. Access to the sea right from the swimming pool area is a huge advantage. Good quality sun loungers and umbrellas in sufficient amount. Varied and tasty breakfast. Dinner is also delicious and good value for money. Responsive staff doing their best.

The location is excellent, on the quiet part of the peninsula. There are many shops, restaurants, in the evening it is nice to walk by the sea. Our suite was large and clean on the 7th floor overlooking the street. However, it has good insulation and you can sleep in silence. The apartment is air-conditioned, the kitchen has everything needed for cooking.

The location of hotel is great, and what was very important we had parking garage included for out rent a car. Breakfast and restaurant were great. Rooms cosy and clean, bed was super comfy. We used the pool which was also great, since we were traveling with our three years old girl.

The animation team was so friendly and look genuinely happy to be at work. We did a few treatments at the spa, very nice! Cocktails at Café Maroc were the ones we liked the best! Stick with the regular buffet and the two rooftop restaurants (rooftop restaurants only for the view).

It was a mistake from my side.
It was a mistake from my side. I wanted to see Malta, Valletta, Birgu, Medina, etc. and not an industrial touristic, discotheque and shopping every day. Long time to reach those places disregarding taxi or bus. I should have chosen location in Valletta. Choose it if you want discotheque.

The Roma Hotel location on the Tower Road where I stayed...
The Roma Hotel location on the Tower Road where I stayed was close to the ferry to Valletta, bus stops were nearby to various places including to the ferry port to Gozo, the long promenade afforded as long a walk as you wished, plenty of restaurants and take aways nearby also, I highly recommend the Fortezza on the promenade, excellent food.

St Pauls is a smallish town in the North of Malta.
St Pauls is a smallish town in the North of Malta. It is being built up a bit but nothing like other parts of the Island. There are two bays effectively. One is St Pauls Bay (which is less built up and more residential) and Buġibba (which has more holiday flats / hotels and bars / cafes on it).
There is a long sea front which starts in Buġibba and runs right around the headland past the Aquarium. The hotels towards the Aquarium become more upmarket but most of St Pauls is great. The pavements are (as in any Mediterranean island) shockingly bad but the roads are good.

I can’t believe we haven’t visited Malta sooner.
I can’t believe we haven’t visited Malta sooner. We had time to travel around the island and all its historical sites but were thrilled we decided to stay centrally in Valletta. It’s a beautiful city with so much to explore and all within easy walking distance. It has a wonderful vibe and felt very safe. We were lucky to eat in some wonderful restaurants and sampled lots of traditional dishes. Every one we met and interacted with was friendly and welcoming and left us feeling that we would definitely be happy to return. We managed to fill seven days with lots of exploring but it would equally be somewhere to visit for a weekend break. We used the ferry to get to Sliema and also opted for the Hop on hop off buses to explore further afield. The trip to Gozo by boat was a more relaxing day and the Citadella was worth it. The added bonus of a speedboat ride to visit Comino’s caves and Blue Lagoon was the icing on the cake.
We would not hesitate in recommending Malta and Valletta in particular - it’s a beautiful island and we will definitely be back!

Malta offers a good public transport, so it is so easy to move around.
There are plenty of bars and resturants. Beautiful sea and places of interests to visit via public transport.
I really love St. Julians town and its landscape.
Cruising Gomo and Goso is very ineresting too.

If you want to be close to the most beautiful beaches — Golden Bay and Paradise Bay — Mellieħa is the right place to stay. Everything is nearby, including the port for the ferry to Gozo Island.
In the evenings, you can take a walk along Marina Bay, where you’ll find many different restaurants and a lovely atmosphere.
If you visit St. Paul’s Bay, we highly recommend the restaurant La Stalla — the food is delicious and the service is excellent.

Not your normal seaside holiday resort.
Not your normal seaside holiday resort. The freeport as a back drop can be a bit of a shock but is soon overlooked. The Village is quaint with ample facilities, but not the place for people looking for nightlife. Lovely. Great time had by all our family.

If you are looking for a quiet area to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of Malta's more well-known tourist areas, Marsaskala is the ideal choice, being located 10-20 minutes by car from Birgu and Valletta.
In the harbour area there are numerous restaurants, bars and pastry shops where you can find both local and international dishes.

Msida is perfectly situated, especially if one likes to walk as it’s convenient to Valletta as well as Sleima. I stayed just off Ta Xbiex so they were convenient stores, cafés, restaurants, and so many other amenities. One restaurant I frequently because of the great food and the great staff was kebab King. Frequent and numerous busses made this area very convenient. Walking or taking a bus to Valletta allowed for easy transportation to almost any place else on the island.

Nice area at the heart of the 3 cities. While the surroundings are similar to Valetta, there is less tourists and more tranquility. Valetta is 2,5Euros and less than 10 minutes away with the ferry that runs every 30'. Plenty of water front eateries, cafes and bars. Not to miss.
