Our holiday was wonderful! We arrived at the hotel earlier. The administrator checked us in without any problems. The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was new with very good cosmetics. Wonderful view of the sea from the window. We also went to the spa. The hotel gave us 1 hour for free. There is a hammam, sauna and jacuzzi. Everything was also very good. There is a restaurant with Georgian cuisine with very tasty dishes.

There is simply no mistake with this hotel, the best recommendations. Let me not forget, we got a room upgrade, a beautiful suite with a sea view, many thanks to the hotel staff. Parking is also available, which was very important to us since we came with a car.

Amid a flood of modern hotel rooms, the classic room design in Hotel Splendid is a sight for sore eyes. It proves that investing in quality pays off. Everything is perfectly placed, and the quality furniture looks identical to when we first visited. Functionality is equally impressive. Guests will feel exceptional in the bathroom. The bed is still world-class, and the bed lining is unmatched. Albeit some patterns may be outdated, we were entirely convinced by the room once more. Many Montenegrin hotels can continue admiring the pioneer of congress tourism. It is crystal clear why almost every renowned event in Montenegro takes place in Hotel Splendid. In the field of event organising, the hotel is still head and shoulders above the competition, and its functionality and spaciousness are unmatched. The legendary lobby has seen countless world-renowned figures. Thus arises the question: where does Hotel Splendid place? The answer is very high. Although it is not the most advanced, modern or extravagant on the Montenegrin Coast, it is still in excellent form. It continues to amaze guests, including several celebrities. In the end, time always tells how good a hotel is. Exceeded All Expectations! Our overall impression of this hotel far exceeded our expectations. The renovation is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, everything feels brand new, and the interior design is excellent. The hotel is located right on the seafront, with its own private beach and incredibly comfortable mattresses on the sun loungers – a real treat. What impressed us most, however, was the service. People make your business, and your team is outstanding. The reception staff are welcoming, polite, and genuinely open – they made us feel safe and at home in a new country, as if we were long-time returning guests. The staff don’t focus on restrictions or limitations — they look for solutions. Everything was done to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From organizing activities to helping us navigate the area and even assisting with parking — this was by far the best hotel staff experience we’ve ever had. The restaurant service is also exceptional: adaptive staff, wide food selection, and superb attention to guests. You truly feel welcomed and valued here — like you genuinely matter as a guest. We are beyond impressed, especially with the people who work here. You are a real team, and the incredible level of service is thanks to you. Well done!

The beach was within walking distance from the hotel, and it was great even though it was not high season yet. Everything is close, restaurants, Budva (8 mins by car). The room was great with sea views. We had a really great time and I have nothing bad to say about our stay :)

Really liked the small old town in Budva.

Really liked the small old town in Budva. It doesn't get too many tourists ( like Kotor) so is less crowded and more tranquil. I didn't like the fact you had to pay to walk along a part of the walled town. There are lots of small food places there (selling pizza, sandwiches, byreks, cakes), which is great and absent in lots of these type of places.

From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.

Overall, a great place, every recommendation for the hotel. Great stuff, great food. Beautiful place, a lot of attention paid to nature. I was particularly impressed by the olive trees in the yard, and the attention paid to their preservation.

The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday.

The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday. I didn’t like that every beach seemed to be allocated to a Hotel and we had to pay €30 for two beach lounges, but this was everywhere and I guess, just how it is done everywhere. We had a hire car so we were able to also visit Kotor, Tivat, Sveti Stefan and other areas, which were all within an easy drive. The exception being the major roadworks on the E65/80 to Tivat, but these will likely be completed by next summer.

The little haven of an authentic garden, less than 5 minutes from a bustling seaside promenade and beach. Shade to be found all day, place to eat takeout, make yourself a cuppa, or chill with wine you’ve kept in fridge. The sincere hosts: friendly, helpful, available, but living next door so not ever-present. Glad we stayed here and at Rafailovici rather than Boudva - beach options better. ‘Rafailovici tourist office’ is good destination to give taxi on arrival as after that, take narrow street down on right and half way down you’re there. Without luggage the buses back and forth are convenient for Budva. Note Summer 2025 - roadworks between Budva (&Kotor) a nightmare ongoing road building possibly a year - this means significantly higher bus travel time /taxi quotes from airport (Around €60 for 50 min journey although also got €80 quoted). Key jiggling for room 2 a bit of a challenge but otherwise everything spotlessly clean, simple, and comfortable beds.

Beach is perfect, smallest pabbels, clear waters great for sweeming. I’d come bavk for longer stay inwsrmer season. Right on the beach there are several restaurants with good food. My recomendation eould still be restaurant on the top , main road, named Kusto. During summer reservation is needed. I would deffinitelly take a walk to St Stefan beach (20-30min thru pine trees and great beaches Kings beach Milocher & St Stefan beach.

The views were magnificent especially in the mountains. The restaurant closest to the villa was lovely and the views from it were also stunning. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming - highly recommend. The roads are very fast and furious. Drivers take serious risks passing. We also had the added left hand driving (we live in North of Ireland) to master as well.

It is nice place during the major season because it is in the middle of many things like Kotor or beaches south from Budva or National Parks. It is not as crowded as Kotor and you can have nicer visit.

Beautiful clear water for swimming, but the resort was very busy and touristy, full of cheap souvenir shops and pizza bars. The beaches were overcrowded with row upon row of expensive sunbeds and parasols.
