The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly! The hotel on its own is architecturally interesting. The rooms are well-equipped, quiet, and very clean! The facilities for relaxing are great, very comfortable. As it was quite rainy we enjoyed the indoor spa but I can easily imagine how cool the outdoor activities are too! The breakfast was unimaginable. A nice mix of local and international dishes. A great possibility to try many local things in small quantities. Only for this, I wish we had stayed longer.

This is a small boutique hotel with on 36 rooms that packs a big punch! We enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were perfect in size, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and breakfast was adequate. There is a bus that goes to the old town for just 2.50 euros and for a return trip after 5pm our fare back to the hotel was free. The hotel is close to a bakery, supermarket etc and just a good place to stay. I would book again.

I'd been to dubrovnik a few years ago for the day while on a cruise. Had a Dubrovnik city guided tour, walked the walls. Did day trips to 1) Lokrum Island (ferry to island off Dubrovnik), 2) Mostar, Bosnia and Kravice Waterfalls and 3) day trip to Elphati Islands (Lopud, Sipan and Kolocep). I had 2 nights at a hotel included with our tour trip.

Zadar was a lovely town, a little in need of some cash investment to help recover after the war but so interesting to walk around, take wonderful speedboat trips out to the islands, fabulous food, a wonderful place to go see. The most standout part of our holiday was the people!!! Everyone is FANTASTIC, the most friendly, helpful and entertaining people even though we visited close to the end of their season and I'm sure the all needed a much needed break we didnt encounter one single person who wasnt warm and friendly. Don't hesitate to visit this beautiful slice of heaven. Oh and the food is exceptional!!!

A beautiful, mid-evil little fortress, complete with an enormous amount of winding, cobbled alleyways, that leads to walled courtyards with magnificent old buildings etc, or to a fabulous little seafront promenade housing many eateries, restaurants, and a sea view to die for!!! A lovely little town to sit back with a nice cold drink and just people watch and enjoy the whole experience!!! The walled fortress is totally pedesterainised.

1) It's a small village, so I expected food to be more affordable. Instead, I found a bunch of expensive restaurants. It was the end of the season meaning not many tourists. Still, no discounts, ridiculous prices. I mean 25 eur for a modest pizza, what's that really??? 2) Public parking is virtually non-existant. If you travel by car, make sure your host arrange you a parking spot.

The main town of Hvar is very small but historic, and could be easily visited in a day. It is also a great place to end a vigorous holiday in other parts of Europe if you just want to relax and explore a bit. The views are spectacular, people are friendly, it is not overly crowded (we were there a bit after peak season) and prices are not totally unreasonable. If you are looking for more adventures, choose your activities carefully as most of the day trips are rather long and mostly pretty boring, except for the people you meet along the way. A great little restaurant/bar is Falko along the seawall near Pebble Beach; excellent food, great service and a fabulous view.

Šibenik is a very beautiful place. I came there mainly for the Ship Festival, so my stay was also full of interesting music. That's why I didn't have much time to see the sights. I would definitely like to go back there someday and see the city a little more.

We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik Airport. We started our Croatia holiday in Split, then did a Bike and Boat through the islands, ending up in Dubrovnik. Seeing how far Dubrovnik is from the airport, I sought closer accommodations, and it was a quick 10 minutes in the early morning when our driver picked us up at 5:40 a.m. After being there, for one day, I wish I could have spent several days there just relaxing!

Korcula was amazing, 2nd time visiting for me, first time being 18 years ago. The town is beautiful, big enough to get lost in for the day, lots to see and do with boat trips, excursions and wondering. We did the buggy wine tour, 3 island boat trip and wondered a lot. Would recommend them all. The buggy trip especially was incredible with amazing hosts.
