Location: 5min walk down to the main promenade where there are cute shops, restaurants and pakara's. 5min drive to Zlatini Rat (parking 5e/hour or 15e/day - cash only to pkg attendant). Hotel: boutique hotel, very clean, cute Pool: we didn't get a chance to use the pool because we love the beach. It looked very clean and serene. Staff: very friendly and helpful. Michelle at the restaurant was great, super friendly, attentive and remembered our names. Front desk staff were also nice. Wifi: it wasn't the best, it was just okay. Room: was very nice and clean, well stocked with shampoo, comfortable, cute. We were upgraded to #208. It had a peekaboo view of the ocean. Parking: outside and underground. Included and easily accessible. Restaurant: breakfast buffet was included. It had a nice selection of food, something for everyone, incl if you are vegetarian. On request, the kitchen will make you any kind of eggs the way you like it, waffles and pancakes (which are more like crepes than traditional pancakes). Way beyond a traditional continental breakfast.

The Brattia Hotel (an historical building in the heart of Postira’s old town) has just been renovated and it’s an architectural an interior design’s masterpiece. The place is actually even more beautiful than the pictures. The staff is of the highest professionalism and the breakfast delicious. And several lovely beaches and creeks are just a stroll away from the hotel.

A welcome at the reception was extremly kind, receptionist provided all the necessary information and answered any questions I had - staff in general was really friendly, helpful and kind. The same goes for the managment of the hotel - all the "situations" I had (caused exclusively by me, not the hotel) was dealt by the hotel personel and managment to my benifit, I've even recieved an upgrade of my room so I've ended up having a balcony in the room, free of charge. Private outside parking is available for 5€/day and it is payed on the hotel reception. Hotel in general was very clean, tidy, decently decorated and it smelled really good, which was nice suprise as well. Room was clean, spaceous, modern and just perfect - a glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom was definitely best suprise of all, it was just too good. The breakfast was good, tasteful and planty of options to pick from - orange juice was excellent, perhaps the best one I've had in the hotels so far. Options for dinner are also okey. Pool was clean and, perhaps, a bit small, but it was never crowded enough for you not be able to take a swim. Some people came early and "reserved" sunbeds by throwing towels on them (which was nothing new) but I was always able to find a sunbed for myself (keep in mind that I was on vacation off-season). A small gym was free and, in a nutshell, it had everything needed to do a full body workout - weights and cardio included. It was clean, spaceous and there were free towels there as well. For an extra fee, larger gym is available (on other Bluesun hotel, I think, with spa, sauna and wellness options included for an extra fee - good option for those who want more). Hotel itself is situated really well, alongside paved walkway along the cost, protected from the sunlight by trees, from the city of Bol towards all the beaches you'd want to visit.

Such a lovely 3-day stay at Villa Mediterranea with the super-host, that is on your disposal literally 24/7 and happy to help anything you need. The location is just great, right at the beach, and all you need in Bol is just a few min walk… Sea and the pool are still very OK for swimming, and the garden is very beautiful with sun-beds and Mediterranean vegetation. Breakfast is very rich and wide range of options, incl. fresh omelettes and warm pancakes.. great great! We were upgraded to a Luxury Suite, as it was available, and that was such a nice gesture by the host. 👍👍👍 Room is very spacious, and with big terrace. Very soft pillows and comfortable bed, well equipped Suite with all you need. Thank you VM for such a great stay…. Love you all… HG & MG

The food was consistently the best food on our three month European tour because they had Mexican staff in the kitchen. We paid for the breakfast and dinner option and glad we did. They could add room service as an option. The views are spectacular. Adults Only with no children. A bartender that makes a great perfect martini. Staff that must have had some Southern Hospitality Training because they had good morale, work ethic and did it with a smile. Something we did not see much of for three months of our Europe Tour. The owner is from Texas so perhaps that was the difference and or management. You have a little beach with a pool and lounge chairs at the waters edge. I think we had live entertainment three times in week.

Beautiful place - definitely worth visiting! Situated on a coast, next to a quiet beautiful bay, in the middle of forest. Small cottages/houses, lot of green, not overcrowded. 3 outdoor pools (1 for toddlers) with plenty of sunbeds (which is often an issue in hotels). There was a bit less variety of food to choose from during meals, but everything was very tasty (which does not always happen) and pretty varied day to day. There were plenty additional amenities free of charge - mini golf, kayaks, sups, inflatable playground in the sea. The hotel service was super helpful as well - we had a couple of inquires that were resolved very quickly.

All the staff were very welcoming and always ready to assist. The location is in a quiet area, with central Supetar reachable in 15-20 mins walk for an enjoyable evening meal. We loved Bol, it was a lovely resort with plenty of restaurants, great walks and beaches and it had a friendly, laid-back vibe with people of all ages. Zlatni Rat beach was lovely and when we were there it wasn't overly busy and although clearly set up for tourists they seem to have kept the balance just about right (although the sun beds and shades are ridiculously expensive at 39 euros per day for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella), needless to say we didn't bother. The walk along the promenade to Zlatni Rat was gorgeous with lots to interest from interesting villas, bars, tourist gift stalls, sculptures and the tree cover made it shady and attractive. Equally the walk into town and the harbour and then further along to the monastery was also interesting and always something different to see. Food and drink is not cheap sadly but most of the meals we had were really good quality - for a special meal try Boket 78, our most expensive meal but the flavours were amazing. I had the lamb and it was one of the best meals I've ever had, hubby had the black risotto and he said it was full of flavour too. Also the vegan restaurant Biomania was lovely. We loved Bol and would happily visit again.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at an incredible villa a couple blocks from water and I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful, quaint, and relaxing environments we've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings and the charm of the location—it felt like a true escape from the everyday. A true hidden gem that I almost didn't want to write a review about so I can keep it to my self! Favorite pizza was at Hotel Lipa and our favorite meal was at Dvor. You don't need a car here, super easy to walk, hike, bike or taxi around.

Sutivan is a small town on the island of Brac, which, unlike other more busy places, offers many more opportunities to relax, enjoy long walks, and watch the sunset. Traffic and loud music are "banned" in the core areas along the beach promenade and the old town, which allows for a serene, peaceful vacation.

It's definitely not a party town, it is a peaceful village.

It's definitely not a party town, it is a peaceful village. The most entertainment was drinking cocktails at The Port bar and watching the yachts coming into the marina. There are no tourists shops (or any shops apart from the butcher and the supermarkets - which was fine with me but could be a negative for others who like to stroll and shop. Easy bus ride to Supetar to cure that need. The bus services in and out are easy - Supetar to Pucisca and then from there to Bol although it required a phone call from one driver to the other to wait at Gornje Humac to meet us. Easy.

We were happy that Povlja has a variety of beaches: city, bay, peninsula-top, secluded bay. We discovered real interesting things locally: the famous early Christian basilica, the viewpoint overlooking the entire bay, an abandoned war bunker on a nearby beach, the somersaults and head-jumps of local youth in the harbor in the evenings. There are also several restaurants and ice cream parlors. We ate excellent pizza and squid with tartar sauce.

Very quiet village, not a lot going on but good if you are looking for peace and easy walk to the beach. It's within easy reach of Supetar and Sutivan, you can walk there in 40/45 minutes, and especially towards Sutivan there are good small coves / beaches. The old Mirca village above the main road is a bit run down, clearly the interest has moved to be as close as possible to the sea.
