Amazing experience. Beyond the beautiful pool, gorgeous suites and lavish it was the Owner and the Staff that made our stay a truly exceptional experience. All our requests were handled promptly, effortlessly and they all went above and beyond making our vacation one to remember. Super clean rooms with comfortable beds (best sleep ever) modern bathroom and served delicious freshly cooked breakfast overlooking the beautiful gardens. Extremely conveniently located near several beaches and the town. We are so sad to leave we will miss being taken care of and pampered but we will be back to Black Amber!!! My husband and I stayed at Lango Design Hotel & Spa in Kos from July 7th to July 9th, booking through Booking.com, and it was truly one of the best vacation experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel is perfectly located in the Lambi Beach area, just a short 10-minute drive from the Ferry Port and literally steps away from the sea—separated only by a quiet road. We arranged our transfer through the hotel, and the warm and friendly front desk team greeted us with big smiles. To our delight, they surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to Room 105—the only room with a private pool and direct sea view. The room was absolutely beautiful, and the private pool was a lifesaver during the hot days we spent on the island. We also enjoyed relaxing on the balcony overlooking the sparkling sea—simply magical. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at Koan, the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant for 2025. We had an incredible dinner with live music, exceptional service, and delicious fusion seafood mezes alongside unique and flavorful dishes. The restaurant’s atmosphere, combined with the staff’s warmth, made it an unforgettable evening. Special thanks to Alexandra, the restaurant manager, who was outstanding—always smiling, polite, and full of great recommendations. The hotel’s breakfast buffet was equally impressive, with an incredible variety that catered to every taste and dietary need. From cheeses, charcuterie, and traditional Greek specialties to niche products like thyme honey, locust tree honey, and chestnut honey—it was beyond expectations. They even offered almond milk cappuccinos, kefir, fresh fruit, and healthy oatmeal options. The attention to guests’ allergies and dietary preferences was impeccable. We also enjoyed tasting local Kos wines—affordable and delicious—and spent time at the hotel’s beautifully designed spa and public pool area. The entire hotel is adults-only, which added to the serene and sophisticated atmosphere.

Top 3 beaches on the island Kos - Camel beach, Agios Stefanie and hotel beach at Agios Fokas. Free towels to be used at the pool or at the hotel beach and even outside the hotel. Just return the towels as you are checking out. Towels can be changed on a daily basis. The staff explained to us everything we asked about, so we had all the information at once. 3 pools, one for small children, large enough to be used by all the children and families, since not so many small children have been in the hotel, best infinity pool, large enough that we did not found it to be crowded, and one little bit smaller pool, like half the size of the olympic pool. Hotel beach is just 3 min by foot, down the stairs, the sea is crystal clear and pebble stones outside and some rocks and sand in water. Hotel offers also rent-a-car services, and car awaits you at the hotel and car can be returned at the hotel, so there is no issues coming back from rent-a-car place to the hotel. We took a car for 2 days to see main attractions on the Kos island. The car was the latest model of VW Up We first booked a holiday in Šibenik, Croatia, but as we saw the costs for accommodation, we immediately searched the cost for Hotel Michelangelo on Kos island, and for the same period the costs for 2 adults and 1 child (10 years) at the Michelangelo in Kos have been cheaper then in Sibenik, Croatia, so without overthinking we booked vacation on Kos, Greece, and at the best hotel on Kos island. We have decided that we will never ever spend our vacation in Croatia anymore. We will definitely return to the Michelangelo hotel, hopefully by the end of the summer this year. And with our friends to whom we shared the photos and videos of the hotel, beaches and the island of Kos. And we still have to make our trip to Bodrum.

Its a very large resort with many pools and lush gardens. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and efficient and although it was very busy we felt well taken care of. The kids enjoyed the pirate ship with the slides and also the water park which had some nice slides especially the mushroom one which our kids did not stop taken. Breakfast was plenty of options with all you can think of. Lunch had a nice buffet around the pool and the dinner at the Greek restaurant was very tasty. The animation team did a fantastic job with activities throughout the day and at night there was some Greek group dancing and singing at the Amphitheatre which gave a really nice touch to our holiday. The reception team was very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us.

It's a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and great staff. I want to thank Fatma our guest relation manager for helping us with everything we needed. We came early and while waiting for our room we could use all the facilities including a rich breakfast. The food was good and had everything you needed. The beach was calm and had a great cool breeze. It' has some small rocks so take a sea shoe with you. After a few meters of rocks it's all sand.. but that was our favorite spot. The Beach bard had some drinks and it was chill. There is an adult pool which is a plus if you want to stay away from children and the crowd.

Great service in alla carte restaurants and in main one. I would like to thank Kristos - Manager, Panagiota - Captain, main chef and waiter in Tex Mex, Lola at main restaurant and Klevisa in the bar as well ice cream guy in the beach. Great team that you should be proud of.

Wow, wow, wow! The staff is so wonderful. We had such a great time. Our son was 2 when we went and not in daycare. The baby creche staff was so wonderful, he did great and I contribute that to the creche staff being so involved and playful with the kids.
