FranceHad a very warm welcome from the owner who goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are happy! The room was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. All very recently refurbished and spotless. Had a lovely dinner even though the restaurant was closed to the public, and breakfast was delicious and made from quality ingredients. Will stay there again if I'm in the area!

However they took all our things up for us anyway. The food is yummy and having a resident discount is great value. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast the next morning and everything was delicious. The avocado toast was the best I’ve ever had! We had the larger room at the front of the hotel. Really spacious, clean and decorated in a really homely style unlike a lot of stale hotels. It was also only just slightly more than the premier inn (and we upgraded) so great value for money. On top of all the that you couldn’t beat the location! Right in the market square! We would definitely stay again.

After a long drive through wind and rain I arrived at the Bluebell. Pete and Lisa answered the door and gave me a warm welcome.
Room was exactly as described. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk hot chocolate and biscuits were all waiting in my room. Private bathroom and shower also.
After filling out the breakfast form I could get a good nights sleep, followed by an excellent breakfast. Which I did!

Great central position. Room was perfect - compact but cosy and comfortable, slept very well and although I don’t have a dog I was impressed with their willingness to accept dogs..
Lots of choice for breakfast with generous portions - made to feel very comfortable and well looked after. Staff were great and food cooked to order with lots of choice.

Apartment was very clean with all mod cons.Good size for six of us,we weren't falling over each other and the views over the beach were excellent.The balcony was just an extra touch to set our stay off.Close to town but far enough away to be quiet.The beach was just over the road.We will definitely be back again.

It's my favourite seaside town and the seafront is so spacious & clean. I love dogs being allowed on the beach, my family & I bring our dogs often. Nicely priced food & drink facilities too in general & lots of public toilets on the front.

Nice place to stay, lady was very helpful and could not do enough for us, bonus the Chinese restaurant was excellent with a large selection of dishes, all very tasty. Will return as soon as we can. Would highly recommend.

Lovely accomodation set in stunning grounds. Health club was great to use priced at £12. Bed was very comfortable. Iron, ironing board, safe, fan and hairdryer provided in room. Didn't have breakfast as wasn't keen on price. Would certainley stay again.

A lovely friendly small town with lots of independent shops and businesses. Plenty of places to eat and its got a lot of its old character giving it lots of charm. It seems theres some lovely walks in the area too, around the countryside and canal.

It was nice to walk along the sea front and around the town: no major steep inclines and a variety of places to visit close by.
The are various eating places to choose from but we opted for a chinese meal. Fortunately we found the Golden Wok. You have to pay cash or via bank transfer but it is well worth it. My wife had duck and I have a Singapore King Prawn Noodles. Both meals were excellent and we paid £22.50 for the food.

Lovely and quiet and clean with lots of tourist attractions...
Lovely and quiet and clean with lots of tourist attractions and great places to eat and drink. The Seabirds Inn was particularly delightful. Good food and great service at The North Landing Cafe. Must-see spots include Danes Dyke, North Landing Beach, Flamborough Head Lighthouse and RSPB Bempton Cliffs.

Withernsea is a deprived area but has a lot to offer.
Withernsea is a deprived area but has a lot to offer.
The beaches of Withernsea and Tunstall are beautiful and if you are careful to keep an eye on the tides you can walk for miles. Spurn Point is just 30 minutes drive away and has a lovely lighthouse which is sometimes open. Withernsea has its own lighthouse which is in a street!!! its worth going up for the views! I would recommend the Golden Haddock for your chippy tea, Captain Williams pub for good pub food and a drink (sometimes they have live bands on), ALDI is the best place to stock up on food if you are self-catering, There are plenty of cafes for tea and cake and fishing is good off the beach.

Bridlington is definitely tired looking in places and we didn't spend much time in the town centre. Filey just up the road felt cleaner and more vibrant. We were staying outside of Bridlington on the beach at Wilsthorpe which is stunning and worth a visit.

Been to Beverley many times mainly as a base to walk from but the town itself is interesting from the Minster to the many historic pubs and the market and I have always found the locals to be very friendly
