Rooms and bed are big and comfy. The bathroom has everything you need. The design of the rooms in general is quite beautiful. Silence makes it easy to sleep at night. The staff was helpful and very polite. The restaurant is very good, I definitely recommend booking a dinner or lunch. The pool and SPA was also a good experience. Perfect place to relax. I recommend it.

The location was superb. The hotel has been renovated from an old convent. The old chapel has been incorporated into the hotel. The breakfast was amazing value for money. 5€ for tortilla, ham, cheese, and tostadas, with fresh orange juice and coffee. Also, jam and butter if you wanted something sweet to eat. There was also a big bowl of fruit for all to eat at any time. The staff was brilliant. We had just finished walking 320km over 12 days of section 1 of the Camino Del Cid and were sore and tired. The hotel manager welcomed us with humour and a big smile. When it was time to leave, our bus to Madrid was a 3km walk away. The manager drove us to the bus stop with all our hiking gear. We didn't need to ask because it was freely offered. What a wonderful thing for her to do. We will be back for another stay when we start section 2 of the Camino. Thank you for the efforts you made for us. We appreciated it very much.

The hotel is really charming. Cozy. The electronic locks work perfectly. The rooms are pretty and well lit and the beds and the shower are comfortable. It smells really nice, a mix of wood and cleanliness, without smelling as cleaning products, which I really hate. And it has nice details, like a water boiler with some tea bags, a nice mirror and hangers on the walls, besides a little closet. The breakfast room is adorable. With an electric fireplace, traditional jazz music playing, a nice decoration and the owner of the place cooking traditional Spanish breakfast. Because it's a small hotel, there aren't many tables and everybody says good morning to each other. I also enjoyed the white linen table cloths and nice tableware at breakfast. It turns simple into sophisticated.

The location was spectacular. Beautiful views. The welcome was very good by Raves ( I think I remember his name correctly, apologies if not). He even rang us to offer support before we left to travel to the hotel. Our room was excellent We had a lovely big balcony overlooking the River Tagus as well as a 4-poster bed and a beautiful bathroom. The evening meal was excellent. All told, we enjoyed our stay.

The town is split by a main road.

The town is split by a main road. One side is the charming old part, the other a modern extension with shops and not great restaurants. The old town has the usual narrow cobbled streets and mediaeval churches plus some mediocre restaurants; this was our only criticism, not many eateries worth visiting. We stayed outside the town (15 mins walk) in an old mill hotel , which was beautiful.

Beautiful medieval village, lots of well preserved architecture. Very quiet off season so no one around. Only 3 bars open. Staff weren’t too friendly. We chose one bar and the owner warned to us and ended up serving us an ok meal outside. Dogs are not allowed in anywhere. Slightly expensive for what we ate. It was very cold. Would like to go back in spring as I’m sure it’s much nicer.

We arrived in Siquenza at around lunchtime and were staying for just one night. I would say that was the right amount of time as it is not a big place and unless you really like to go into all the history of everywhere then there is more than enough time to walk round and see the lovely architecture of the old buildings. There are some lovely walks apparently but we didn't venture out on any of them due to the weather not being too good. There is a small number of eateries in the town, and a very good churreria next door to the Hotel HC.
