Beautiful historic building. It was a privilege to be able to stay here. Great half way stop between Bilbao and Barcelona. The inclusive audio guide around the monastery at our own leisure was a lovely treat. A truly incredible piece of history. Great that part of it has been made in to this fabulous hotel. A real old fashioned Spanish inn. Despite our lack of Spanish we were made incredibly welcome by Rocio and Alix. Supper (very good) served in front of a log fire in a bar full of locals. Also appreciated the welcome for Daisy dog who immediately fell in love with the resident perro Sherlock. We hope to return.

One of the best accommodations in my life so far: fairytale location, wholesome food and very warm hosts that made us feel like home from the moment we rang the bell. This place is like the one that you cannot wait to tell your parents and friends about and you dream of taking them with you in a future visit! Thank you, Marian y Miguel and hope to revisit your amazing place soon! P.S. if you eat meat, then please order El Secreto Iberico for dinner! Is to die for!

The location was absolutely amazing! Next to many trails, the river and around 20min beautiful walk to Benasque. Staff was very friendly. Wifi was easily accessible from the camping grounds. Supermarket within the grounds was convenient and sufficient. Bar/restaurant was great too! Room was comfortable and cozy. Hot water showers available and a ready kitchen. Nice to dip in the pool/river on a hot day too!

Interesting small town. Good range of bars and restaurants. The Mudejar design from moorish era very striking. One point I would make that if travelling without a car I would avoid staying in the Parador as there are very few taxis in Teruel and the walk is partly along a very busy road. Also to travel to Zaragoza or Valencia the trains are being replaced by buses for at least the next few months.

Closest to the spectacular National Park of "Ordesa y Monte Perdido". This Park can compete with the best National Parks in the U.S.A. and China. Torla is a cute village and Broto with its cascade is close. You can also visit AINSA, one of the most beautiful villages of Spain and the Añisclo Canyon, with its microclimate and liquenes. Do not forget to visit also other glacier valleys in the area, outside the Park. The Park has a limit to the number of visitors per day and in the weekend the Guards of the Park may block the access if there are too many visitors.
