Inside the resort we did many excursions from horseback riding in the water and in the desert to the view of the coral reef. We used the SPA which gave us sensational massages. A special thanks to the staff for welcoming and pampering us from the first to the last day. We will definitely be back Jacopo and Francesca.

SpainThe hotel is well renewed, comfy and cozy, access to the beach is not a long walk..everything pretty closed by. Everyone we met was lovely and friendly, from hotel staff, to the shops owners, sellers on the beach, and mostly the guys from the Dive. It is pretty close to the airport, but not that much to hear planes going back and forth. We had a charming stay, the reef in front of the hotel is very well preserved and rich, both snorkeling and diving. Food was varied and tasty, the Indian restaurant, excellent! Rooms are very spacious and clean. We would definitely repeat if we have the chance! Thank you to everybody for making our stay so great!

I don’t even know where to start... Everything was AMAZING! This Hotel is just THE PERFECT place to relax and have a lot of fun on the sun.
They keep their pride in keeping everything clean and beautiful, and all the people working there are extremely helpful and friendly.
They attend to their guests with every need, the freshly prepared food is so delicious with different choices and varieties.
Every day there are many activities around the pool such as Zumba, Yoga, Water polo, Aqua gym, Volleyball, Pètangue, Darts, Etc.
After the delicious dinner, the Animation Team led by Shaggy, will make sure to keep you entertained and laughing every night with different programs and shows such as The Oriental show, Dance show, Comedy show, Fire shows, Mic show, and many many more.
You just feel like you are a part of that Happy Life Family during your stay, so that is why this name is Just perfect for this hotel and I thank you all so much for a wonderful holiday.

Second vist to concorde and it was as amazing as the first !! The room was beautiful it was massive, had touch screen controls for house keeping to make your room or not, your own personal WiFi box inside the room which was amazing! The staff made sure I had food as I arrived later on in the evening. The staff everyone was amazing asharf in the lobby bar and the manger in the reception cant do enough for you! The animation are a big part of the hotel not pushy for activies always happy day and night provided shows evenings and daily activities. Restaurant was OK I am a vegetarian and did have to ask the chefs most days if something had meat in as it isn't labelled if it is vegetarian including the salad as sometimes there was meat inside but I did find something to eat every lunch and dinner and the chefs got to know you and would come over to me straight away letting me know if there was meat inside which was amazing!! All the staff are so friendly in the hotel and are always so helpful if you need anything, they are always happy and smiling throughout the day home away from home 🤍

An excellent location, a resort with all you need. Starting with welcome to hotel, very fast check in (Mr. Faati at reception), then the room: big, clean (every day they change towels, beach towels too). Food is delicious and diversified, anybody can find something to eat ( salads, hummus, labneh, vegetables, grill, meat, seafood, fruits, soups, etc, etc). Entertainment is nice, people are doing all the best to make clients feel good. At pool bar and hotel bar, they prepare any kind of cocktails and coffes. At the beach, also, they take care of everybody. Reef is amazing. All you need is a snorkeling mask. Water in pool is clean and warm. All my stay was an unforgettable experience from all points of view. At leaving, a manager ask us about our stay, in order to improve whatever is necessary. Very good choice of a vacation.

It has been a great experience! Shams Alam is located in the best place of the Red Sea, where you can swim with the dolphins and to see the famous dugong. You can reach Shams from Marsa Alam airport in less than an hour! Every members speak english, italian and deutsch fluently. The cook Mohammed and his staff prepare international and local food every day, three time a day. The chambers are enormous and beautiful!

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

Port Ghalib is worth a visit, outside of the AI Hotels. Nice bars, good restaurants and friendly people. On Saturdays there is now a Cruiseship visiting Port Ghalib, hopefully the effects on the reef etc. will be not too negative.

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...
I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second.
We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited.
I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.)
It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels.
Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

The sea was beautiful.
The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

Beach area we were in wasn't the greatest,no swimming area ,too shallow and rocky not sandy.Took quad ride out in desert was fun.Lots of fish to see on reefs,water very clean.marss Mubarak has resident dugong and turtles but didn't see the dugong on our visit.Overall nice place ,a bit on the windy side but nice relief from heat.

There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. Everything is put in place so that you only want to do one thing... come back as quickly as possible."

I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t like. Mainly, I noticed that someone bought a quad bike tour, and they were taken just a little way behind the hotel to ride on a pile of sand for a short while. There was trash and plastic all around, a complete wasteland—nothing pretty. I’m used to greenery, which I understand is lacking in this destination, but I definitely wouldn’t buy an overpriced camel or quad bike tour. Especially because, in that heat, it wouldn’t be an enjoyable experience for me, and with the trash around, definitely not. I did a diving trip, but it ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, they made us leave our things (like backpacks) in a place where locals were moving around, and we had no way to secure them. The original plan was that we would be on a boat. In the end, it didn’t happen, and that was probably for the best. I booked the trip through Booking. I had no particular expectations, even though we were supposed to see dolphins. It saddens me to see that everything can be bought with money, and that’s just wrong.

There is a public beach a little further away (a short walk across a small desert area) with exceptional underwater flora and fauna. Bring shoes for walking in the water. Please stay above or near the coral (personally, I didn't know there were risks to swimming too far from the reefs, namely sharks. But I didn't see any. On the other hand, there were some exceptional fish!
Port Ghalib is a tourist spot but much, much quieter than Hurghada. If someone tries to sell you something, just say ‘La, chokram’ with a smile and everything will be fine. Don't forget to tip a little, as Egyptians earn very little (around €400 per month for a family of four). For activities, I recommend Royal Sea Tours (royalsea-tours.com), who are really great.
