This is a beautiful old property, as charming as it could be. Our room, no. 11, was large, with a balcony and a lovely view out to the water. The staff are wonderful- friendly, helpful, accommodating. The breakfast is fabulous, absolutely worth the extra charge. The hotel and the neighborhood are quiet. There is a city bus that stops in front of the hotel that takes you to the center of town ( you need Kroners in exact change to ride).

I had probably the best breakfast in a hotel in my life. It was not only good and very elegant, but the view outside was very nice, with a small river, some boats, and some trees. The atmosphere is amazing. The whole area is very quiet and green, the hotel is near a big lake, a forest and some houses with horses around. If you need peace and green, there you go!

I wanted to drop off my bags at 10am, but then they said I can already check in (normal check in time is from 3pm on). Very nice staff, always kind and wanting to help. Nice swimming pool and sauna. Good breakfast, lots of choices. Clean and pretty room. Easy and fast to rent a share bike and go into the city or walk for a bit if you're up for it.

The hotel Concierge went above and beyond in assisting me with getting a wheelchair for a family member (with very little notice) and suggesting activities which we could partake in with a wheelchair. Although the Concierge stands out I want to give a shout out to all the staff which assisted us during our stay - they were all excellent!

Everything from the public areas to the lovely rooms. The staff was exceptional. My husband and I were visiting Copenhagen for a few days when I fell and broke my hip while out sightseeing. Copenhagen has a simple easy to use Metro System which took us to all the sights. We did a walking tour of Copenhagen highly recommend. We visited Rosenborg Castle, Amelieborg Palace and Fredriksborg Palace over our 4 days and did not get Palaced out as they were all very different, Loved our lunch at Nyhavn after our scenic canal cruise. To our surprise admission to all the palaces offered 50% for Seniors. So many quaint lovely bakery/cafes to have a coffee and cake. The shopping is excellent. Copenhagen is small and very accessible and the people are helpful.

It dark in these time of the year, but it is a great and green place. Friendly people and possibly nice path for recreations. I were business there though. I would say the staff in the 7 eleven at the station I do like the best, however at late card terminal may not be operation. Feeling safe.

Very clean, newly renovated, quiet. The room well appointed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a small shopping area with a supermarket,small restaurants and every convenience very close. It’s a bit out of the city centre, so maybe not ideal if you are sightseeing in Copenhagen, but it’s on a bus line. My only small gripe- the pillows were small and we could have used two each and the winter bedcovers were too warm for June. Otherwise a great hotel where we will definitely stay again.

The hotel is clean and very close to the train station so, it was very easy to get to central station which gives you access to all the trains that will get you to where you want to go. You can catch a train direct from the airport to Tastrup train station and walk less than 5 minutes to the hotel.

It's a quiet hotel, even though it's on a busy road. The guests room are in a wing off the back, where it's nice and quiet. Breakfast was good though coffee disappointing, compared to other hotels we've used in Europe. We would stay again

I just need at quiet place to rest, wasn't on sightseeing... I'm not specifically interested in Ballerup at this moment... And therefore it was a bit annoying that the house was so noisy - late at night as well as early morning... The staircase especially was making a lot of noise.. It made me feel nervous that somebody was coming down to me - a lot of times...( I was in basement! ) I couldn't open a window either, just the door if I wanted some fresh air, and that wasn't very nice either... The room (s) were too big and 'spread out' in different 'sections', and that wasn't cozy in my eyes...There wasn't a 'night-lamp' near the bed that worked, only a lot of spot lights in the ceiling... Not that cozy even if the volume could be turned down... The man of the house seemed very nice, I met him on the way to the house, - as I was asking for advice concerning some road-maintenance obstacles that were in my way to get to the house. So they are most likely were nice people ... But I guess a big part of my disapointment comes from the fact that this stay was more expensive than a night in Hotel Zleep - also in Ballerup, 3 weeks ago...There I had a quiet room, no sound from the building, view to a lake, nice bed, a window I could open, GREAT BREAKFAST INCLUDED, everything clean and everything easy and flexible in terms of checking in and out etc. Much easier and more comfortable for me... So I will chose that next time...

A lot of noise made it impossible to sleep, also missing curtain made the room full of sun in the morning. There were no hooks or storage for clothes nor luggage. No curtain around shower making the bathroom all wet, and no ventilation.

Copenhagen is an absolutely beautiful city — clean, stylish, and full of charm. The people are amazing, genuinely helpful, respectful, and everyone speaks excellent English. Danes pay great attention to detail in everything, from how they dress to how the city is kept. The food is fantastic, and everyone visiting should try their cinnamon swirl — it’s the best I’ve ever had. The architecture is stunning, with so many beautiful places to explore. If only the weather had been better, it would have been the perfect holiday, and I’ll definitely be coming back to this wonderful country.

Nice hotel, nice rooms and friendly people at the reception. Great breakfast ! The hotel is located very near to the trainstation which is a big advantage if you want to travel by public transport. We had a very nice stay here !

Location and the grounds is very nice. The breakfast is ok but served between 7-9am. Room was big but outdated. TV has few channel and no bluetooth. Two person bed was separate spring mattresses that kept drifting apart. Bathroom is not up to standards for this kind of location and price range. Its a conference hotel more than it should be. Ordrupgaard Art museum is super close as is the beach. Lousiana art museum little ways and Bakken amusement park as well.
