The location above the lake with views changing with the time of the day. Only a few separate studios with terraces facing the laguna. Large wall-to-wall and flloor-to-ceiling windows. Stunning modern design. All of this set on a maticuosly kept property and interestingly modelled terrain, with lawns greener than the English lawn. The welcome from the owner Ana was more than warm! Her breakfasts and dinners super delicious, served on a roofed terrase with THE view. Our thanks go also to Ana’s staff, nice willing ladies. Thanks a lot!

The property is beautifully nestled along a bubbling brook, close to lake Arenal with an easy drive to Liberia airport and all the hiking and activities near LaFortuna. Trent was a great host with great recos on places to eat nearby. (Gingerbread House is a must for dinner!) . Nice pool and amazing landscaping. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Great coffee, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. eggs, meat. etc. highly recommend!

Great Location near Lake Arenal. Joanne and Simon are the perfect hosts; during our stay they were always helpful and found answers to any question. We became friends! They proposed best-fit daytrips that fit best with our interest: a cozy Hot Springs Spa resort, a Hanging Bridge tour and a horse back ride. Ahead phone calls were offered to secure availability. The house restaurant was temporarily closed as the cook had just left. Manuel, owner of a small restaurant next door (25m) offered excellent local food and hosted us every night. Best comes last: the home-made breakfast with fruit of the season, fresh juices and home made bread and cake! WOW!!!

This B&B was very relaxing, clean and comfortable and has a beautiful large garden. One of the highlights was Carlos who is a wonderful host and chef cook! The breakfast was delicious and we even managed to spot some toucans from our breakfast table. We would recommend this place to anyone.
